AMD superior

AMD been in the console game for ages so this was a no brainer. More powerful than a Steam Deck so it actually runs AAA titles. Ergonomics are good so far, it doesn't feel awkward holding to play lying down. Graphics look good so no issues there so far. Loaded ROMs onto an external SD card to play some classic games which is super easy to install after some research. Elden Ring drains battery quicker, but still decent runtime for a AAA title on a handheld. OP for indie games though, the battery lasts forever for games like Balatro or Dead Cells.Ver más

Best Handheld I’ve ever had

I bought it for my daily game, and it handles VERY WELL. I’ve played it during my long weekend, just can resist on laying on my couch and playing on this handheld🤣I would definitely recommend buying this wonderful handheld👍👍👍

Early Review - A Few Days In

I've been testing this device for a couple of days, so consider this an early impression rather than a full review.Price: At over $1,000, I believe this device is overpriced for what it offers. It shouldn't cost this much.Packaging: This is genuinely one of the worst unboxing experiences I've seen. The device ships in a plain plastic bag with just a charger and a manual, nothing else. No padding to prevent shaking during shipping, no protective case, nothing. For a device at this price point, this feels completely unacceptable. If you don't believe me, check the unboxing videos yourself. Come on MSI, this is a premium-priced device packaged like an entry-level one.Performance: I tested several games, including Stray, Gotham Knights, and Hi-Fi Rush, and everything ran smoothly with no noticeable frame drops. I've also been using the AI optimization features, which work well. Overall, performance is a genuine strength.Display: The screen is average at best, not top-tier. I'd say the Legion Go OG actually has better color accuracy. I've never been a fan of MSI's screens; they've always felt lackluster to me.Battery & Cooling: Battery life is decent, and the cooling system performs well, no major complaints there.Build Quality: The plastic and overall materials feel cheap for a $1,300 device. That's a hard pill to swallow at this price point.Charging: One concern, the charger gets noticeably warm while connected. I'm not sure if this is normal, but it's more heat than I'd expect. I'll assume it's temporary for now, but wanted to flag it.Bottom Line: The core performance is solid, but MSI could have done much better with the packaging, presentation, and build materials especially at this price.
