  Finally found the right harness

  We tried several different “escape-proof” harnesses for our cat, but the little bugger got out of all of them except for this one. After a couple of weeks of using it, we’re pretty sure he can’t get out of it. It fits him really well, and I think that’s a big factor in why he can’t get out. Our cat has a bit of an odd shape, his head I smaller than one would think it should be for his body size. The adjustment points on this harness customize it well for him. Plus he’s comfortable in it and doesn’t seem to mind wearing it, unlike the others. He’s not an experienced harness wearer, we’re training him, and he fought the other harnesses a lot, but not this one. He’s making great progress now. Size is really important. One of the others was way too big, and I think the size charts for all these harnesses are all over the place. But this one works and the chart seems accurate. Try different sizes if you need to. Overall, it’s well made and goes on easily. I attach the neck part first and then the chest part.Ver másVer menos

  Boots' outdoor adventures

  The medium sized harness fits my 15 pounds, 13 year old Tuxedo cat well. The harness is pretty easy to put on although it would be easier if my cat was standing up. The first two trips outside he was a little hesitant about going outside but now once I've carried him to the door and opened it, he walks right out and has gotten very interested in exploring the flowerbed. Can't verify the escape proof claim as my cat is not a high energy expending cat.Have asked Boots what he thinks about the harness. Got his silent meow as a response.Ver másVer menos

  Nice

  This is a very well designed harness. Allows full mobility for a cat if it is trained to wear it. Very light and fits a few growth stages.

  Short length from front to back

  The straps are very adjustable so can grow with cat.Too bad the length between the neck strap and belly straps isn’t longer. Seems like the chest straps cut into the back of my cat’s front legs.Otherwise, very well made.

  Perfect for cats in between sizes

  Bought this harness because the previous (cheapo) ones I've bought on amazon my cat slipped out of too easily from tension. She's more on the petite size so she fits in this harness well. It’s good for weird shaped cats, she’s petite but fat so the custom fit was really important for her. Tiny neck big belly makes it hard to find the right size harness.If you're thinking of buying a cheaper option DO NOT. This is the one you want to buy or you'll risk your the safety of your cat outdoors!Ver másVer menos

  It's Good But Not Escape Proof

  It's not too difficult to put on and appears to be a comfortable fit for the cat, without any scratchy parts, which is greatly appreciated. However, it is not 'escape proof' and personally, I don't see how any harness would be, since cats' bodies are very slick and malleable, and can easily back up and pull themselves out of any harness if they wanted to.My cat got spooked and did exactly that. I was able to grab him quickly, however, I would suggest training any cat in a contained area, where they cannot run away when the inevitable happens.Ver másVer menos
