FIFINE Continues to Blow Me Away… So Much So I Bought a Second Pair

OK, FIFINE is honestly one of my favorite brands on the planet at this point. I have SO much of their gear it’s ridiculous… mixers, boom arms, desktop stands, XLR cables, microphones, headphone amps, headphones… if I see a FIFINE product that fits my setup, chances are I’m trying it.It all started when I tried one of their products years ago and realized this company somehow delivers insane quality for the money. Their K688 XLR microphones are still some of my favorite microphones ever, period. I own expensive microphones too… even a Neumann that costs thousands of dollars… and unless I’m doing some ultra serious paid voiceover project, I’m usually reaching for my FIFINE gear instead. That says a LOT.So I picked up these Amplitank HD18 Lite headphones a few weeks ago and instantly loved them so much that I ordered a second pair. I run a podcast and constantly have guests or cohosts, and I hate mismatched setups. I want the same microphones, the same headphones, the same overall sound experience for everyone. If a piece of gear is that good, I want my guests using it too.The build quality on these headphones is absolutely phenomenal. They fit so well! Super simple to connect! The versatility on this headset is wild! FIFINE consistently shocks me with how premium their products feel. Even their cheaper microphones have metal chassis designs and feel better built than products I own that cost hundreds more. These headphones are no different. They feel sturdy, comfortable, and extremely well made.The sound quality is rich, detailed, and immersive. The open back design gives them a really airy, natural soundstage that makes podcasts, music, monitoring, and editing sound fantastic. The 53mm drivers do an awesome job balancing crisp highs, natural mids, and controlled bass without sounding muddy or overly boosted.Comfort wise, they nailed it. The breathable mesh fabric and lightweight design make these easy to wear for long sessions without your ears getting hot or fatigued.One feature I absolutely LOVE is the detachable boom mic. A lot of gaming style headsets only let you flip the mic up or down, but this one actually bends and adjusts exactly where you want it. You can move it closer or farther from your mouth to get the perfect placement and avoid plosives or weird breathing noises. And if you don’t need it? Completely detach it and just use them as headphones. That’s freaking brilliant.I also love the industrial style design. Normally I’m strictly a red and black person and purple is honestly one of my least favorite colors, but somehow FIFINE makes their aesthetic work. Their designs just look cool.I could honestly talk about FIFINE gear for days because every product I’ve used from them has impressed me. Their SC8 mixer is phenomenal, their microphones sound incredible, and these headphones absolutely continue that trend.Bottom line… if you’re looking for comfortable, great sounding, well built monitoring headphones with a wide soundstage and excellent features at a really reasonable price, these are absolutely worth checking out. I’m even planning on doing a full video review on these because I genuinely like them that much.
