I love these headphones

These FIFINE HD18 Lite headphones surprised me in the best way. The open-back design gives a really wide and spacious soundstage — music and games sound much more natural and detailed than I expected at this price. The breathable mesh ear cushions are super comfortable. I wore them for a 4-hour gaming session and my ears didn’t get hot or sore at all. The detachable mic is clear for calls and streaming, and the quick mute switch is handy.Ver más

Great Headphones for Studio Work, But Music, Not So Much!

These headphones look bad ass! I use headphones mainly for music and studio work. These sound amazing in the studio, and the mic is the best I ever heard in this form factor, however, listening to music with these doesn't cut the mustard with me. Every instrument in the song was a high pitched tinny mess. Very disappointing. I was looking forward to listening to some great sounding music on these things. For that, I can only offer a 4 star rating.Ver más

Let's Be Honest! REVIEWS

FIFINE Continues to Blow Me Away… So Much So I Bought a Second Pair

OK, FIFINE is honestly one of my favorite brands on the planet at this point. I have SO much of their gear it’s ridiculous… mixers, boom arms, desktop stands, XLR cables, microphones, headphone amps, headphones… if I see a FIFINE product that fits my setup, chances are I’m trying it.It all started when I tried one of their products years ago and realized this company somehow delivers insane quality for the money. Their K688 XLR microphones are still some of my favorite microphones ever, period. I own expensive microphones too… even a Neumann that costs thousands of dollars… and unless I’m doing some ultra serious paid voiceover project, I’m usually reaching for my FIFINE gear instead. That says a LOT.So I picked up these Amplitank HD18 Lite headphones a few weeks ago and instantly loved them so much that I ordered a second pair. I run a podcast and constantly have guests or cohosts, and I hate mismatched setups. I want the same microphones, the same headphones, the same overall sound experience for everyone. If a piece of gear is that good, I want my guests using it too.The build quality on these headphones is absolutely phenomenal. They fit so well! Super simple to connect! The versatility on this headset is wild! FIFINE consistently shocks me with how premium their products feel. Even their cheaper microphones have metal chassis designs and feel better built than products I own that cost hundreds more. These headphones are no different. They feel sturdy, comfortable, and extremely well made. The sound quality is rich, detailed, and immersive. The open back design gives them a really airy, natural soundstage that makes podcasts, music, monitoring, and editing sound fantastic. The 53mm drivers do an awesome job balancing crisp highs, natural mids, and controlled bass without sounding muddy or overly boosted.Comfort wise, they nailed it. The breathable mesh fabric and lightweight design make these easy to wear for long sessions without your ears getting hot or fatigued. One feature I absolutely LOVE is the detachable boom mic. A lot of gaming style headsets only let you flip the mic up or down, but this one actually bends and adjusts exactly where you want it. You can move it closer or farther from your mouth to get the perfect placement and avoid plosives or weird breathing noises. And if you don’t need it? Completely detach it and just use them as headphones. That’s freaking brilliant.I also love the industrial style design. Normally I’m strictly a red and black person and purple is honestly one of my least favorite colors, but somehow FIFINE makes their aesthetic work. Their designs just look cool.I could honestly talk about FIFINE gear for days because every product I’ve used from them has impressed me. Their SC8 mixer is phenomenal, their microphones sound incredible, and these headphones absolutely continue that trend.Bottom line… if you’re looking for comfortable, great sounding, well built monitoring headphones with a wide soundstage and excellent features at a really reasonable price, these are absolutely worth checking out. I’m even planning on doing a full video review on these because I genuinely like them that much.

3d soundscape! Really good for gaming and recording

I finally got a chance to properly test out these headphones ,and the audio performance is significantly better than I initially anticipated for the price point butHeadphones get a muddy sound from 400-800 hrtz (low mids)Soundstage & Spatial ImagingThe standout feature of this headset is the spatial separation. Thanks to the open-back design, the sound feels remarkably expansive and "3D" rather than trapped inside your ears. You can easily hear individual instruments layered completely apart from one another. Because the directional audio and imaging are so distinct, these are absolutely perfect for audio production, mixing, or gaming where you need to hear exactly where an enemy's footsteps are coming from.Tuning & Intended UseIt is worth noting that these are tuned much more like studio monitors than consumer headphones. The sound profile is flat and precise rather than heavily boosted or packed with artificial bass. Because of this honest, analytical tuning, they are fantastic for gaming and tracking tracks, but they might not be the go-to choice if you are just looking for a hyped, bass-heavy headset purely for casual music enjoyment. The cord has a nice woven cover on it instead of the plastic most come with . The VerdictFor a budget-friendly open-back headset, the level of audio clarity and spatial detail completely blew me away. They are lightweight, highly breathable, and a massive win for anyone who needs accurate positional audio for gaming or editing!(I have not got a change to test out the mic yet , but if its as good as the audio its golden) also they are comfortable to wear .Ver más

Good for Office

Solid Office Performer with Natural Audio AwarenessI picked these up primarily for office use and daily communication, and they have proven to be a reliable choice for a professional environment. Because they feature an open-back design, they don’t isolate you from your surroundings; you can easily keep a pulse on what’s happening around the office while listening to your audio. The volume range is excellent, allowing for plenty of headroom depending on your environment. The physical design is quite comfortable for extended wear. I particularly appreciate the flexibility of the microphone—it bends exactly how you need it to and can be completely detached when you just want to use the headphones for listening. That said, the audio profile has a couple of quirks. In voice chats, the soundstage feels a bit wide to my ears. Additionally, as someone with a higher-register female voice, I’ve noticed my audio occasionally clips during Discord calls. This might not be an issue for users with lower-register voices, but it's something to keep in mind. My only other minor grievance is the inline remote; it uses a clicky, scroll-wheel style mechanism for volume adjustments that just doesn't feel very satisfying or intuitive to operate.Pros & ConsPros:Great Situational Awareness: The open-back style lets you stay aware of coworkers and office activity without needing to take the headset off.Versatile Mic: The microphone is highly flexible and fully removable when not in use.Comfortable Fit: Suitable for long periods of wear throughout the workday.Strong Volume Output: Offers a robust and wide range of volume control.Cons:Occasional Voice Clipping: Higher-pitched voices may experience minor clipping/distortion in communication apps like Discord.Clunky Volume Remote: The inline control wheel feels awkward to use, opting for a clicky feedback rather than a smooth scroll. No Noise Isolation: Because they are open-back by design, they will not block out ambient room noise (though this can be a pro depending on your needs!).Ver más

Excellent sound and comfort

I've been using these headphones for work related audio calls and some casual audio editing, and they've exceeded my expectations. The sound is clear and detailed, with a surprisingly wide soundstage thanks to the open-back design. It's easy to pick up subtle details in songs that I hadn't noticed before. They're also very comfortable to wear for long sessions. The ear pads are soft, the headband distributes weight well, and I never felt much pressure even after several hours of use. The white and purple color scheme looks great too and stands out from the typical black headphones. Just keep in mind that the open-back design lets sound in and out, so they're best used at home in a quiet environment. The price is a little steep in my opinion, but after trying these I would purchase again for this price. Definitely a 5-star purchase for anyone looking to try open-back headphones without spending a fortune.Ver más
