  iPod Classic on a Budget

  I love this thing. I was able to import my FLAC library onto it. It sounds pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a thinner cheaper sound but this was better than I expected. I was considering getting a modded iPod classic and came across this product during my research. For the price I figured I would give it a shot and I absolutely love it.The UI takes some getting use to. The stock software wasn’t too bad. I was able to download skins for it which instantly gave me the iPod nostalgia vibes I was looking for. I definitely recommend still using rock box software with it.The construction of the device is definitely more plastic but lighter than an iPod as a result. I will say the click wheel on this is great. The closest thing to the real thing I’ve tried. I’ve purchased iPod dupes in the past and the click wheel wasn’t a functional wheel. This one is great and makes me engage with the music more than just listening on my phone.It’s a great device to write with or to just unplug and go for a run and play basketball. I use it with my Sennheiser HD 58x jubilee’s open back headphones and my Moondrop Chu II IEM’s those two headphone combination with this device sounds good. I also love using it in my car connecting it via USB. I’m quite happy with my purchase it’s great value for the money.Ver másVer menos

  Cute and fun MP3 player/clone wannabe…

  I’m having fun with my Innioasis mp3 player! It has a retro feel as a imitation (in appearance) to an iPod classic. The case is plastic and light though I am okay with this.The inner workings are more modern than iPod though. It has Bluetooth capabilities and charges with a USB-C. It also uses a click-wheel response like its mentor. One can purchase a 64 or 128gb player, and there are a variety of colors.The sound isn’t blow-your-mind amazing, but it is adequate. It isn’t perfect, but it does fit my needs and tastes without spending $300+ for old, discontinued technology. I like it so much that I purchased one for a good friend.I haven’t had it long enough to test longevity, but Bluetooth works, radio tunes in reasonably well, and battery does last for several days after about six hours of daily usage.It was worth the cost, in my opinion, and if it broke or failed, I would purchase again.Ver másVer menos

  Yes, I admit it! I still like MP3 players. I like loading music, audiobooks or podcasts onto them and connecting a pair of wired earbuds or headphones, lying down on my bed or couch and just listening, as I escape into another world.Why not just use my iPhone and my AirPods? I can, but it's too easy to get distracted by all the other apps and messages from friends and co-workers coming in periodically. I prefer old-fashioned things. Using an MP3 player takes me back to the 2000s and early 2010s where I was happier, less connected and could unwind more easily.Yes, I still love technology, and new technology excites me very much! :) Back to this review now.This MP3 player upon close inspection looks oddly similar to the iPod Classic, which I have used before. I'm no stranger to MP3 players - I've owned several over the years, from different brands.It doesn't quite match the iPod Classic in terms of everything that classic, memorable device could do.I might get off track again, no pun intended, so I'll move into a breakdown of each feature and say what I thought about it.[DESIGN] It looks very similar to the iPod Classic. It has the click/touch wheel that I loved about that device. And it functions the same for this one. The screen isn't of quite the same quality. It's a decent screen. Large enough to navigate through music files. It's an acceptable, reasonably wholesome screen. The device's shell is made of some type of hard plastic, which is why it's so lightweight. Because of this, I bought a case for it. I feel the materials used could've been a little better.[EASE OF USE] If you've owned an iPod or any MP3 player before, learning to use this device shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. There is a user manual included. I looked at it just to be sure that I was making use of all this player's features.[TRANSFERRING AUDIO FILES] You just connect this player to your computer with the included cable, and it functions like a flash driver. A folder pops up and you can create folders and then drag and drop files where you wish. Fortunately, transferring files is much more pleasant with this player. They transfer much faster than some other budget MP3 players I've bought.[SOUND QUALITY] Not top-notch sound. If you've owned a high-quality MP3 player, you'll notice a slight reduction in sound quality. All in all, the sound is pretty good. Of course, if you have high-quality headphones, they will certainly help. I just use some wired earbuds from a third-party brand. Most of the time I listen in a quiet environment, so this isn't an issue.[BATTERY] Excellent battery life! I've owned this player for some time already and have had to recharge only 2 times.I'm sorry to say that I haven't tried out the Bluetooth feature. Or the radio. I'm sure they work. This player has so far delivered on everything I've expected from it.I bought a 1TB model and use it at home. I also bought a 128GB model in yellow because I liked the bright color and use this one when I'm on break at work.I think all in all that this player is decent for the money. It's higher quality than the other budget players I've bought, and I find it fun to use. It makes me feel nostalgic about the days where I could afford not to have a care in the world.

  Couldn't get it to work with my MacOS computer

  I've been a loyal user of various versions of the iPod through the years, and was naturally saddened when Apple discontinued them. So I was hopeful when I saw somewhat positive reviews for this MP3 player. But upon arrival, the disappointments began.1. First up, the instructions on "How to transfer music..." #3 "Click this PC on your computer's desktop...you will find a USB drive added to the list of devices..."Well, NO. No USB drive appears. And no amount of Searching could locate it.2. Continued to dig into the manual, and in a section headed FAQ, #1 asks, "How to SHUE?"WTF is SHUE? Google only points me to some actors from Melrose Place and Adventures in Baby Sitting. If your first FAQ is so misleading, that definitely isn't an encouraging sign.3. Then there is the advice on the connection cord included, a USB-A to USB-C cable. "To charge, siimply connect the USB-A end to your computer or ADAPTER and the USB-C end to the player."Needing a USB-C to USB-C cable for my computer, I tried an adapter I had, with no success. So I went out and purchased the C>C cable, and crossed my fingers. Again, no progress.[For what it is worth, I was able to open the player and using the controls, I could enter today's date and time, and see all the various features I MIGHT have been able to access, if I ever found my new device on my desktop (see #1 above).Getting nowhere, following their manual, I emailed the company Support, and can say that someone responded the next day (from China, so a lag was not unexpected).Among that advice was (after more admonition about using the necessary cable)"2. plug your player into the different USB-A jacks of your PC separately by a good USB-A to USB-C cable. It can help you troubleshoot.3. If the two steps don’t work, your PC lacks a MTP Driver to recognize the mp3 player. Please try to install the MTP Driver into your PC by following link:which directed me to OpenMTP, which was an application that made very little sense to me. so I did a little Googling and found a site that offered advice about this secondary application, which said," often fails to connect via USB or Bluetooth, with device not appearing in Finder.To resolve connection issues, ensure it is set to the correct USB mode (e.g., MTP or File Transfer).On Mac, install any required drivers or use third-party apps like Android File Transfer. For Bluetooth, confirm pairing mode is active and remove previous pairings. Restart both devices and toggle Bluetooth off/on. USB tethering may be disabled; check device settings under Hotspot & Tethering. Regularly update firmware and macOS to improve compatibility and connectivity."Sorry, folks, this Innioasis MP3 player is heading back to Amazon, and I'm buying a refurbished iPod with two year guarantee off eBay.Your mileage may vary.

  The Perfect iPod Clone

  It's very thin than I originally had thought. So far I've had no problems with it at all, connects well with my raycons and if I wanna listen to the radio I just connect the earbuds provide though I plan on replacing with better and durable earbuds. Also the battery life holds well, very easy and simple to use. It's a perfect iPod clone especially if you couldn't afford an iPod now I can freely listen to my music on here and not on my cellphone. May consider purchasing a case and screen protector for this MP3 Player. Overall Definitely worth the money.Ver másVer menos

  Very nice, but be mindful of the screen.

  I really love this little mp3 player, but I wish it was made a tad bit better. The package comes with everything you need to use the player. It comes with a charging/data transfer cord, headphones and a manual. The user interface is very nice, all you have to do is drag and drop files with no hassle, and the manual is easy to understand. I just wish the screen plastic was a bit higher quality. After traveling with this mp3 in my purse with no keys, it now has many buffmarks.Ver másVer menos
