Everything You Need or Want To Know
This has become one of my absolute favorite Mp3 Players. I'm going to break down everything good, bad, and alright about this unit.First off, the sound quality is insane! Now I tried it with the wired earbuds they came with, which were comfortable in my ear, but kind of "tinny" with the sound. So, I ended up using my own earbuds or my jbl headphones, both wired and Bluetooth. This unit scratched every musical itch in my brain perfectly! The Bluetooth range is alright,it could be better. But as long as the mp3 player is on your person with earbuds or headphones it should be fine. The feel of the mp3 player is phenomenal! The buttons are a little "clicky", but I personally like "clicky". The shell doesnt feel cheap in the slightest. The weight of the unit is very comfortable to both hold or have in my pocket. The description says that it can only be upgraded to a 128gb SD card, but I've been using a 256gb SD card and have had no issues. The internal storage fits all of my songs anyway, which is great since I have over 4000 songs. Now onto the interface, it is very easy to navigate, I had no issues finding different features and functions, very straightforward. On a real positive note, the shuffle feature is better than any mp3 player I've ever used. Most mp3 players you'll hear the same song on shuffle every 10 songs, but with this one, that rarely happened. I also like how you can simply select it to play ALL of your songs, either In order or shuffle, which I do when I cant decide what to listen to. One of the issues I'm still working on is how it classifies "albums". When I go through the albums it would end up automatically merging albums together. For example I have multiple Celtic Woman albums and when I have Celtic Woman Christmas and Celtic Woman Destiny as separate albums, it would simply merge all Celtic Woman into one Album. Which is fine? I guess. Most of the time I would just select my music through the "files" icon anyway. Another thing I noticed is that the files/songs will be in whatever order they were uploaded to the mp3 player or SD card. (Example: song 7 moved to the mp3 player before file 1, file 1 would appear out of order) So thats just something to be mindful of. Also, the mp3 files must meet a certain resolution for the Album art to appear. I had to use mp3tag and kid3 to change the resolution of the image and then the encode for said image. The player can only support images of 1000x1000 or less and encoded to ISO-something. (I just learned of this stuff to be able to see the album art)Not sure where to input this stuff in the review, but the radio feature is also better than any mp3 player ive ever used. Its auto tuning function, works better than most,I had no trouble finding my local stations. It also has an option to record whatever you are listening to on the radio. I personally don't really have a reason to use that, but its cool. The lock feature is much appreciated,I love being able to not worry about pressing buttons accidentally in my pocket. The battery life on this unit is also phenomenal. I work 10hour (or more) shifts and if I have it on full charge at the beginning of the day, its not even down to half battery by the end of my shift. (So long as I don't leave the screen on.) I also like that the middle button under the screen returns you to the currently playing music, I've never even heard of an mp3 player that can do that. Its great! All in all, I am very pleased with this device, it just took me some time and work to really get the fullest experience from this mp3 player. For the price, this is a powerhouse.Ver másVer menos
