I go through so much black ink! Nice to find a refill with just black ink!
I grabbed these PayForLess black cartridges for my Brother MFC‑J1360DW because I go through black ink like a caffeinated raccoon goes through your trash — fast, enthusiastically, and with no regrets. With how much I print, brand‑name ink would bankrupt me.These off‑brand cartridges? I couldn't tell any difference. I did a fair amount of research on the top tier of generic cartridges, and PayForLess consistently ranked in the top tier for quality, longevity, ease of installation, and compatibility. They slide in easily, the printer accepts them without giving me the silent treatment, and the colors come out bright and clean. Are they exactly the same shade as Brother ink? Maybe not. But unless you’re printing museum‑grade art, you’ll never notice.I print everything from plain text documents, photos, vinyl PVC stickers, my own washi tape and stickers, various journaling ephemera, and these handle it all like champs. No streaking, no weird color shifts, no “surprise! you’re out of ink after 12 pages” nonsense.Page yield varies a bit — sometimes more, sometimes less — but still wildly worth it for the price. And honestly, some of the “XL”OEM cartridges don’t last any longer than these do.Bottom line: my printer is happy, my wallet is happy, and I’m happy. That’s the trifecta. Highly recommend.Ver másVer menos

Solid print quality for high-volume text printing
A straightforward, cost-effective black ink option for Brother printers. The cartridges were compatible and installed cleanly and were recognized without error. Print quality is solid for everyday text documents, with no smudging or streaking. The high-yield design means fewer replacements, which is ideal.Ver másVer menos

Good value and works with standard brother printer without extra steps
Brother printers have long been known as one of the best brands of printers. Especially when it comes to not locking you to their products like ink. The compatibility listed is accurate for the MFC-J1360DW printer. At $40 currently I think its a good value for your money. You get 2 packs of ink that should last quite a while. The installation is incredibly simple, you just open the latch for the ink area on your printer and snap the ink cartridge in. The ink quality so far has been great and I have no complaints at all. I've printed a decent amount of pages, primarily text and havent noticed any issues. Overall a good pickup.Ver másVer menos

Worked!
I got another black LC501XL from a different vendor and it put my printer on the fritz! Thankfully, THIS cartridge worked and my printer is functioning again 😭 print quality normal while still affordable. Easy install.
