  I ordered these Mezcla Puff Crispy Protein Bars in the Frosted Strawberry flavor. These are a decent size measuring approximately 3 5/8” long and about 2” wide. Upon opening a package there is not an overwhelming smell of strawberries that I’ve had in other products. The texture is light and crispy with a mild flavor. Texture reminds me of crisped rice treats without the gooey marshmallow. The bottom of the bar looks like they’ve been dipped in yogurt however there is no dairy in these. Ingredients are easy to understand and I was happy to see that there is no high fructose corn syrup in this product. There are two types of oil in this product - both palm kernel and coconut oil. I’ve eaten a couple of these now for breakfast on the go and these do hold me until lunch time a few hours away. Product is made in the US which is always a plus for me. I like that the company donates to the Hunger Project. The only downside for me was the price, and why I gave this product four stars. When I ordered these they were $32.99 for a box of 12 which is about $2.75 a bar. That’s a bit pricey for a daily breakfast on my budget.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-As described. May have a minor problem. Good to great value.Four stars-As described but may have a more noticeable flaw or problem. Or, not as good as value.Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product.Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else.One star-Nope.   Best protein bars I’ve ever had

  Such an amazing texture to find for a protein bar or really any bar. Crispy as described. Tastes like strawberry cereal. Love the matcha flavor too!!

  Just right!!!!

  I have been eating Mezcla bars since 2022 I believe. They are my top 3 favorite bars, wether for energy or just a snack! That's how delicious and easy on your stomach they are! My favorite are the maple/blueberry combo and vanilla matcha so I was BEYOND excited to try the strawberry and it lived up to my highest expectations!!!! Not a fake strawberry taste, just right amount of "frosted"....just so so tasty!Ver másVer menos

  Delicious airy crunch, but a bit pricey for an everyday snack

  I enjoy the flavor and texture of these bars. The puff-crispy base made from pea crisps and quinoa gives it a super light, airy crunch and texture that is so much better than the typical dense, chewy protein bars. The strawberry flavor is bold and refreshing, and it pairs perfectly with the creamy coating on the bottom. Nutritionally, it hits all the marks for me. It is completely plant-based, vegan, gluten-free, and has 10g of clean protein without any weird artificial aftertaste. I also love that a portion of the proceeds goes to a great cause like The Hunger Project. The only downside is the cost. While the quality and clean whole-food ingredients are there, they are a little high-priced to justify eating as a regular staple.
