I waited a long time for this combination of features and price

Loving it so far. I almost returned it until I figured out how to change the brightness is HDR mode, though

  Nice Monitor, poor KVM

Very nice monitor. Brighter than I expected and the 5K results in very crisp text when connected to my M4 MacBook Air. I would have given this monitor 5 stars but one of the main reasons I purchased this monitor was a let down, which is the KVM. This monitor uses a new/upgraded KVM over the PD series. The New KVM allows 2 Mac to connect using only a single cable (Thunder bolt and USB-C) for each. Unfortunately, while it works, it works poorly. It refuses to wake the idle system. Working with BenQ Support, all the settings were correct, as they are enabled by default. I adjusted to MacBooks to not sleep when connected to a power source, etc. Yet in order to switch to the idle MacBook after an elongated period of time, I must first open the screen of the MacBook and unlock it, then the Display Pilot software will finally switch to the other system.I am on the fence if I will keep it or not, as the updated KVM was the primary reason I purchased this monitor. If you want just a nice 5K monitor, you should look at putting this on your short list, but if the KVM is something important to you/a selling point, you may want to look elsewhereVer másVer menos

Probably one of the very first people to get this monitor

Looks gorgeous in person. Dual usb is very convenient for connecting my work MacBook Pro and personal MacBook Air.

Buyer Beware: iDevice Color Sync does not work with Microsoft Word on Mac

Edit as of July 27, 2026: The Microsoft Word compatibility issue I reported below appears to be fixed.Nice screen and good picture quality, but the monitor has some functionality issues on Mac. The M-Book / iDevice Color Sync mode causes a rendering glitch in Microsoft Word, and BenQ is aware of the issue but there is still no solution. I have also had occasional problems with the monitor not recognizing my Mac Mini after inactivity.Ver másVer menos
