This soundbar saved me from having to buy a new TV.😊
8/17/26Just a short update. I am still liking this soundbar and definitely saved me from buying a new T.V. I think I neglected to mention that I can use my Firecube remote for the volume instead of the remote that came with the speaker. I have seen some bad reviews since submitting my first review. For my experience this is a great little speaker, so far.7/10/26 - I just received my sound bar, set it up and wanted to do this review while it was still on my mind. I have a smaller bedroom, but the sound is good and it does not overwhelm. Setting it up with my TV was challenging. I spent quite a bit of time questioning AI to aid in the setup. My TV was manufactured in 2013. Therefore, I could not set up the soundbar using Bluetooth nor could I connect my soundbar using the the Optic cable. Thankfully, I was able to connect via the AUX connection. I have only had this sound bar a short time, but I am pleased with the sound. No more static. I thought that I needed a new TV because of the static on my 2013 JVC. My nephew was the one who suggested that I purchase a sound bar and I am glad that I listened instead of just buying another TV. At $29.99, this was a great value and the sound quality is good. I am not a Vine reviewer. I paid for this sound bar and would definitely recommend.Ver másVer menos

WHEN CONNECTING TO TV USE THE OPTICAL CABLE FOR BETTER CONRTROLL
If you have an Amazon Smart TV, this model doesn't show whether it has an updated version. It's hard to sync with the TV, but the Bluetooth and the optical cable work well. The sound is amazing with either one, but you have more control with the optical cable. The black sleek design is great. Nothing I can say about the remote control; it's a remote thats it. I am only giving 4 out of 5 stars because of the connectivity. But everything else is 5 stars for watching movies on Netflix, Disney, and HBO MAXVer másVer menos

Good value, great sound.
Great little sound bar. I don't need theatre surround sound, just better than the tinny speakers on my office TV. Easy to set up once I had the right settings which took some tweaking, just follow the directions.

Finally. Audio not going behind TV to the wall.
I can finally have the television volume at a normal level. I never understood why they put the speakers in the back of the TV. I was tired of the sound being louder in the rest of the house than for those facing the television.It doesn't have to be loud to be heard. It can be set to the correct volume for those watching while not booming to the rest of the house. But it actually can be turned up very loud.The size of this soundbar is perfect for sitting in the front of the television. It doesn't take up much space. The dialog is clear.The only negative I have is there's no volume level indicator. That would be a nice feature.Also, a warning. When I first hooked it up and turned it on it was extremely loud. At maximum volume. Very startling. I was afraid it might ruin the speaker. Not sure if it was just mine or they are set that way. So, I advise turning the volume down before putting on the television.Other than that, I definitely recommend this one. I'm so glad I bought it.Ver másVer menos

The good and bad of inexpensive sound bars
This is an inexpensive sound bar and so to expect it sound like a top end unit is unrealistic. It is supposed to have four speakers and two bass reflex ports but obviously the speakers can only be so big in a compact unit and the sound quality is negatively impacted by that. However, it certainly improves upon the sound coming from almost all TV's these days so it is an inexpensive step up.Lots of people complaining that you can't use another remote with this to control volume on your TV and that is only partially correct. If you have a true learning remote, it will easily learn all the functions and control volume for any device you are using. A universal remote will probably not work because I can't find a code for this unit. So, learning remote only and it does not need to be some high end unit - mine is an older analog Sony unit that works perfectly with everything I've ever bought.Convenience. This is where it gets annoying. There is a series of dim lights across the front of the unit and serve absolutely no purpose other than to show which input method you are using which is ridiculous because once it's set, you're probably never going to change it unless you buy a new TV. What those lights should do is show volume levels like almost every other sound bar I've ever seen.The unit works very well with my powered subwoofer although the volume button the remote for subwoofer has no impact on mine, suspect it is there for those that buy the version of this that comes with its own SW. It does however mute the woofer when you use the mute function so they do communicate.Size - slim enough to fit right in front of my TV because my TV is on the OEM stand and sits just high enough for this to slide slightly under. Wall mounting with the included hardware would be just about impossible and likely to fail if it does hold initially. Get some molly bolts if you really want to hang it and try and catch one end on a stud for insurance.The main reason I bought this unit is because almost all the sound bars out there have eliminated a subwoofer out jack. They either come with a BT sub of their own or have built in woofers that the manufacturer thinks are sufficient.. I prefer a powered 10" sub to get the full effect and you obviously need an output from the bar to use one. This is actually a backup unit to another brand I already own and is over 10 years old so afraid of failure and the inability to find a replacement with the features I need.
