I’m really impressed with the Surfans F20 Pro. The sound quality is excellent—clear, detailed, and noticeably better than listening directly from my phone. It feels well built and has a nice premium feel in the hand.The interface is easy to navigate, and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi work well. I also like having both the 3.5mm and 4.4mm output options. It has plenty of power for my headphones, and music sounds clean and balanced.Overall, this is a great portable music player for anyone who cares about sound quality but doesn’t want to spend a fortune on a high-end DAP. Best Buy in Its Price Range
In the world of low-cost Digital Analog Players (MP3) with a DAC (Digital Analog Converter) feature, the Surfans F20 Pro I consider to be the best I’ve listened to in its price range (under $200). I use Bowers and Wilkins PX8 S2 Wireless and noise cancelling over-the-ear headphones, which cost about five times what this MP3 player does and I hear to the limits of my hearing ability at age 86. Sound adjustments on the F20 Pro are extensive. The amplifier is quite powerful and I can bring my Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 250-ohm headphones to ear-splitting volume. I also use Moondrop Space Travel Ultra wireless earbuds that provide great sound too, and they do not disconnect anywhere in the house, or on the porch. I also use Beyerdynamic 41 iE wired IEMs when I’m in bed. And because I’ve attached earpieces that fill my ear canal, I get sound rivalling the Bowers and Wilkins. Battery life is OK. The player is about the size of a pack of playing cards and the weight is not too heavy for a shirt pocket.Now for what I listen to when streaming: blues, blues-rock, hard rock and rockabilly, all loud. I do not use SSD (Solid State Drive) memory. Buy this DAP, it gives close to perfect sound.Be careful with the Android operating system and the small size of the screen. Good sound quality, bad file management
A small and very portable MP3 player. Memory is expandable to (according to the manufacturer) 512GB although I see also 1TB mentioned.It’s very easy to add your own music; either directly to the microSD using an adapter (preferably) or through the player itself using USB-C (slow) as it shows as an external drive when connected to a PC (didn’t work with my MacBook).The sound quality is great. I’ve used it over Bluetooth only (Apple AirPod pro) and I hear no difference between my IPhone and this player (no need for wired headphones).Now for my biggest complaint: I put over 10,000 MP3s on it (devided over several folders) and filemanagement is sloooow. Maybe there is a limit in which it works better (one folder holds 5,000 songs), but jumping to the next track takes ages and their own app (Surfans Hifi Player) crashes often.Until now I’ve used an IPhone for playing and managing songs and was hoping the Surfans players would give me somewhat of the same experience, but unfortunately it doesn’t.If you want to use it as a straightforward music player it works fine. If you also want to do some managing (deleting songs), there are probably better options.Ver másVer menos

Decent Hifi Player
Got this today and first impression is that it is slightly over priced. However, after trying it with my AKG headphone, the sound quality is amazing. Even better than my old sony hifi player. System is smooth so far, screen quality decent. I am satisfied with it overall.Ver másVer menos

Returned for poor performance of battery mainly
Stock firmware is not good for battery life and seems too short even worse when using wifi or bluetooth.Hardware buttons do not work when screen is off.Seems like the native interface provides a very buggy experience that begs for a different firmware in order to give back hardware capabilities to deviceReturned it due to poor performaceVer másVer menos
