Good drone for beginners!
Good drone for beginners. The SKYROVER S1 is very compact, easy to carry, and has a beautiful design. As my first drone, I’m really happy with it and excited to keep learning.When I first got it, I was honestly a bit nervous about flying it. Since I had no prior experience, I wasn’t sure how difficult it would be or if I might crash it right away. It did take me some time to get started, especially because I didn’t initially know how to turn it on or what the buttons were for. I had to search for tutorials online to figure things out, which helped a lot. As a complete beginner, I do wish the manual were more detailed and beginner-friendly, with clearer explanations of each function.Once I got the hang of the controls, the experience became much more enjoyable. The controller started to feel more intuitive after a few tries, and I became more confident with takeoff, landing, and basic movements. The drone also responds fairly smoothly, which makes it easier to practice and improve over time.The camera quality is clean and clear, especially in good lighting conditions. It’s great for casual photos and videos, and I was pleasantly surprised by how stable the footage looks for a drone at this price point. I’ve already had fun capturing simple shots around my neighborhood.The battery life is decent and gives me enough time to explore and practice without feeling rushed. Charging is also simple and convenient, which makes it easy to take it out regularly.Overall, this has been a great first drone experience. Fantastic drone.
Fantastic drone. Battery life is great, rock solid in wind and the built in display is easy to see even in bright conditions. The drone responds to commands quickly. Returns to home every time. When the drone detects that battery life is low it gives you a verbal warning, counts down from ten and returns to home. It misses the landing target by only a foot or two. All functions of the built in screen controller work as they should. Make sure you get a memory card that’s at least 32 gigabytes if you plan on taking 4k 60 fps videos. Forward and down looking obstacle avoidance works as promised. I flew the drone directly at myself and at about two feet from me it refused to move any closer to me. The only negative is that the user manual is digital only ( no printed version) and it could be more detailed but once you fly the drone it’s pretty intuitive and I found that the instructions build into the controller is sufficient to make up for the manual. Excellent for Price
This is a great little drone that is very much worth the asking price. Do be warned that it doesn't have 360 obstacle detection, only front and down. Like all drones in this weight and price range it is also a bit on the fragile side. Overall though, this a great first drone and has an amazingly clear camera for what they are asking.Ver másVer menos

It features a very stable "Auto-Takeoff" and "Return-to-Home" function that works flawlessly—a must-have safety net for any beginner. Even in moderate breezes, the GPS-assisted flight kept the drone perfectly hovered, allowing me to focus on the scenery rather than worrying about the controls.The battery life is solid and reliable, giving me plenty of flight time to explore the landscape and capture high-quality shots without constantly checking the power meter. NOT durable.
I will edit my review in the future if I see fit, as I've been dealing with customer service. My drone was delivered, I put it in my work truck ans the following morning, unboxed it at work and charged it. While it was charging I got everything set up on my phone. First day flying, I didnt even get through a full battery life. It lost signal and did some kind of landing, not back at the home point, just on the side of the road and landed right side up luckily. I turned it off, rebooted it, played with it a little more, absolutely loving it and ecstatic about it and how it operated, everything, I absolutely LOVED IT. I then decided, hey sport mode, lets see how fast it goes, which turns off the object sensors, clipped an overhead utility line and it tumbled down and snapped both right legs. I was sick, but thought you know, hey, it happens, I'll buy new legs and put on it and just know this thing is super fragile and be back up and running. NOT AVAILABLE. A few feet of a drop cracked the legs like a robin egg and I cant even get repair parts? There's also no customer service phone number to talk to a person, so you either have AI or a long wait through email, still to now be day 2 into this and I have no drone and no resolve. Learning to operate a drone I used a $150 G10 and its wiped out multiple times and still flying. As much as ai really loved this thing, so far, the customer service and lack or durability has me saying be cautious, I dont really know I'd recommend it. This all happened after about 5 guys of work I was telling "hey this thing is great, this is the one you want" then they also witnessed how fragile it is and that I'm not getting answers on parts, I dont know that they would really consider this drone at this point either.Ver másVer menos
