Great dash cam!
This is a high definition dash cam.It includes three cameras, the main dash cam facing forward, a cabin dash cam facing inside the vehicle, and an additional external camera that can be faced rearward (or wherever you want to mount it). The rear camera is attached via a cable to the main unit (I chose not to install it). The main forward facing camera is 4K, the other two are 1080p. The unit also has GPS built-in.There is a built in screen for viewing live or recorded video. The screen can be set to turn off or engage a clock or GPS screensaver 30 seconds after starting, or it can be left on.They all record to an included 64 GB micro SD card (not built-in). A micro SD to standard-sized card adapter is not included. It states it can support a 128 GB card and other users say it can support a 256 GB card as long as it's fast enough.The unit also has both WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity to a smartphone and a free app. The app makes setup easier, and can do live-streaming from the camera for aiming during setup but not while in use. It can also transmit its video files to your phone wirelessly but this takes a long time, over a minute for each one minute of video per camera.The easiest way to view the files is to remove the SD card and access it with a PC. You can choose 1, 2 or 3 minute lengths for each video file. You can also individually choose which video streams you want recorded: The forward view, the cabin view, or the rear view, or any combination of the three. Recording all three uses the most data on the card. Recording all three will fill a 64GB card in less than half a day. The unit can be set to overwrite the oldest files (or not). The recorded video has the GPS coordinates and your speed overlayed on the screen (either can be turned off in settings).It also includes a GPS route tracer, but I don't know quite what to do with it. The app doesn't do anything with it.The unit also records ambient audio, though this can also be turned off, either in the setup menu or immediately via a button on the outside.The included mounting kit works well, has an adhesion strip for both the main unit and the rear camera.Overall I highly recommend this dash cam. It records extremely high quality video, no strobing or pixelation, and comes with a 64GB SD card included in the price.Note that the app cannot be accessed thru Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
