The definitive way to play the greatest 3D platformers ever made!
I have been waiting years for Super Mario Galaxy 2 to finally get a modern re-release, and this bundle delivers exactly what fans have been asking for. Getting both Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel in one package on the Switch is a dream come true. Two Masterpieces in OneIf you’ve never played these games, you are in for a treat. They represent the pinnacle of 3D Mario platforming. The gravity-defying level design, the iconic orchestral soundtracks, and the sheer creativity of the power-ups still hold up perfectly today. Galaxy 2 specifically feels like an endless playground of "Nintendo magic"—it’s challenging, inventive, and genuinely joyful from start to finish.Performance & Modern UpgradesNintendo really polished these ports. Both games run at a crisp 1080p at 60fps when docked, and the textures have been updated to look beautiful on modern displays without losing the original art style. It’s a massive step up from the original Wii versions.Control OptionsOne of the biggest concerns with porting Wii games is the motion controls. Thankfully, this version gives you choices:* Button/Stick Controls: You can play fully without motion controls, which makes the games much more accessible for handheld play. * Motion Controls: If you prefer the "Wii feel," you can use the Joy-Cons to replicate the original pointer functionality. * Handheld: You can use the touchscreen to collect Star Bits, which is a clever and intuitive workaround for the lack of a sensor bar. The VerdictWhether you are a long-time fan looking to revisit these classics or a new player experiencing them for the first time, this bundle is an essential purchase for any Nintendo Switch library. The added storybook pages (with new lore!) are a nice bonus for longtime fans, and the value of having both games in one collection is unbeatable.Don't miss out on these games—they are, quite simply, perfect.Ver másVer menos
