Suitable for anywhere, anytime
For ~120 bucks (I got these on sale at 110 and with the free BC1 clip-ons that came with the deal), these earbuds are better than every other open-ears I've had around this price point! In terms of looks and ease of use, these earbuds are pretty easy to set up right out of the box; they came fully charged, and it's a simple plug-and-play experience (just pair and you're good to go, plus the app is really easy to set up and change the EQ/sound settings)They stay connected pretty well, and I could go very far from my phone, and they'd be connected (with the exception of walls of course)I work in a hospital kitchen, and I actually don't notice them at all; I wear these all day and they last just about my entire shift without charging (8 hours). They're really comfortable, considering that I have pretty big ears, and I wear them to sleep/work/every day. For something with no mechanical lock or anything, they're soft on the ears and stay attached even during moderate movement at work. The adjustability is pretty simple too, all you have to do is aim the speaker at your ear, and pivot the earbud back up or down so it'll stay attached and comfortable. They also look gorgeous (photos attached, these are the titanium color) and they're a nice metallic color that makes them almost look like jewelry, without being too 'showy' and shiny. The durability of these is pretty phenomenal since you can wear them in the shower and they won't get damaged or anythingThe sound quality on these is extremely good too; the bass isn't muddy, which is an issue on the open-ear archetype. The highs are pretty clear, and if it's a little bit different from what you'd like, the Baseus app makes it very easy to switch the EQ settings, and there's also an LDAC feature + Dolby Atmos feature, which is pretty amazing because for open-ear earbuds, they contend even in-ears for sound qualityOverall, if you're looking at buying simple clip-on earbuds, these would be my go-to option because of the price point, sound quality, and it really just feels like an accessory. There's no complication like other brands, and it stays pretty true to its archetype. 11/10 would buy again, maybe for a family friend or somethingVer másVer menos

Great Everyday Carry
Battery life is excellent, I go days between charges. They're comfortable, stay secure during workouts, and the case feels sturdy. Pairing with my phone was effortless, and they reconnect instantly every time. The physical buttons make media control easy and intuitive. I was also surprised at how well I can still hold conversations while wearing them, which is a big plus for everyday use. Great choice for walks or runs as you can easily hear your surroundings, which is important for safety. Highly recommend.Ver másVer menos

These are amazing!
I have always been a fan of Baseus products. This is going to be the third set that I have purchased, and I'm always impressed. I have one that I travel with and another one by my bedside. These are going to be a great addition to my collection. The Pros: The sound is amazing! And the ability to go into the app and make all the adjustments to every aspect of these earbuds is awesome. They are very small, and they go on to your ear very easily with the smallest adjustment. They also do not budge when you move around a lot. It doesn't feel like you're wearing anything at all. The sound is truly incredible, but with that, the ability to adjust it precisely is even better. I'm on the fence about the one-button operation. I love the idea that you can't accidentally touch it and it does something you don't want it to do, but at the same time, you have to be precise with your button pushes to get it to do what you want. All that can be set up through the app. There are no additional sizes of earbuds. One size fits all. And now you don't have any extra stuff lying around that you have to figure out where you put it when you need it. The case is really nice and very slick, also small and portable. It seals well and is not too hard to open. Charging is easy peasy! My cons: The case itself does not stand up, which is not a big deal. But if you want it to sit upright, it's not going to happen. You cannot tell which ear is left or right until you do a sound test. This can be a big deal based on what you're listening to. I went over it with a magnifying glass and for the life of me could not find any "L" or "R" written anywhere. This is my first open-ear earbud set, so using it in the vehicle with the window cracked is not a very good option. But that is the trade-off that you get when you purchase this type of product.Overall, I am very impressed not only with the product itself, which I did not doubt, but also with the app you can use with it.Ver másVer menos

Great sound, good bass, superior for calls.
Pros:- Excellent sound overall. Bass is overall average compared to closed headphones, in-canal buds, etc, but still significantly better than just about any other open bud I've tried; it's a weakness of the open bud form factor.- Multipoint BT works reasonably well, unlike other buds.- Hands down, the best "telephone headset" I have ever owned; according to family members my voice is clear and full, and they do an excellent job of filtering out environmental noises like wind and car noise during calls.- Custom and preset equalizers, LDAC, and low latency mode available via a simple app.- Easy to wear, do not cause pain like in-canal earbuds can; I can wear them all day.- Water resistant and cling to the ear like they are glued there, perfect for the gym and exercise.- 8 hour batteries that actually last all day; 40 hours with the case.Cons:- Nonocclusive, so they do not help with blocking environmental noise.- When you are biking or running, wind noise can be an issue as they stick out from your ears enough to cause turbulence.- Occasionally the case fails to charge when plugged in; unplugging and replugging the USB-C cable fixes that.Overall:Excellent at what they do, but they cannot do everything. That said, they are what is in my ears most of the time these days.Ver másVer menos

Probably one of the best options at this price point
Ok, so this review is specifically for using these while running because that is the sole purpose that I purchased them for and all of my insights will relate to that.Let me start with all of the good things about these:1) They sound really good. In comparison to other open ear designs I have tried I would easily put these in the top 3. Bass response is good at most volumes. Clarity is very good and the imaging is surprisingly amazing. Vocal sound like they are in the center of my head. Very impressive for open ear design2) Volume is sufficient. These go loud enough to hear over traffic without any distortion and minimal loss of fidelity. Please keep in mind that there is a level of volume that is loud enough to negate the need for open ear at all. I mean, if it's blasting so loud that you can't hear sounds around you then maybe open ear is not the style for you3) comfort. These feel great. They are extremely light and even when they move around you don't even notice it. I have taken these on runs as long as 13 miles from easy days all the way up to advanced speed work and have had no issues with them shifting or falling off. They do not fit quite as tight as i had expected which seemed like it would be an issue, but surprisingly it was not a problem4) customization. This one is a mixed bag, but mostly good. The app gives you plenty of options to tweak the sound quality and customize the buttons. The only thing it won't let you do is change the single tap function. This isn't a deal breaker and i am guessing it has to do with a hard coded part of the firmware, but it would be nice to have a single tap function that is different on each head phone. So here are the things i think they could improve on:1) The buttons are a little mushy so they can be a little difficult to press and sometimes a little difficult if you are trying to double press or press and hold. I prefer a more "clicky" button that has some physical feedback when you press it. Or even if the buttons stuck out just a little bit more. When you are running fast and your hands are sweaty it can be a little bit of a challenge. Having said that, they are still way ahead of touch controls when you have sweaty hands2) no feedback on button presses. Most headphones have a simple "beep" when you press the button so you can tell that the headphones have received your input. This is useful when your devices take a second or two to respond. They beep when a bluetooth connection is made so I know the capability exists. This could be something they could add with a firmware/app update I am sure, and it would be nice to have3) no "in field" pairing. This set like many others, require the case to be present in order to pair them with your device. I have found a few that will let you pair them without the case and to me that is a HUGE benefit. It's not a deal breaker but that is something i would love to have and would even pay a few dollars more forBattery life so far has been about as expected which is roughly 20% per hour at 75% volume. Not "Best in class" but should be more than enough for most people to use for the dayOverall, i have tried a lot of different brands and models and they all have flaws and they all cost a lot more than these (sometimes upwards of twice the cost) and these have none of those flaws so far.I was hesitant to try a cheaper set from a brand i am not familiar with but i am glad that i did because these are my new daily use headphones when i run.

Nice bass for an open-ear earbuds
4/5 - relatively happy with these open-ear earbuds. The design is good and feels comfortable. It stays on my ears even during a lot of movement.Battery life is decent, depending on how you use it. I listen to a lot of music so they last me about half the day of constant use.The bass is better than most but I've noticed a slight distortion when the volume gets higher (which varies depending on the device I'm connected to due to different settings, so you'll need to make some EQ changes). Most of my gripe with the product is the case. It's just my preference, really...but I'm not fond of rounded / egg-shaped earbud cases. I like them a bit more flat and textured so that I can rest it on a surface without it rolling around and also easier to hold in my hands without it feeling like it's gonna slip off.Call quality is pretty good. I've had a couple people say I sound muffled sometimes...but others have not mentioned anything so not sure if it's because of the earbuds or if it's just the signal during those calls or if it's them.Other than that, overall I'm happy with these earbuds.Update: took it down to 3 stars. These things are now doing this annoying thing where it would NOT register that I've put them back in the case. Like one of the earbuds would still be connected to my phone and not charge. I clean these often so it's not because the charging contact points are dirty. And it would randomly do it to either one of the earbuds. Like right now...the right one is in the case charging, but the left one still thinks it's outside so it's still connected to my phone. Taking it out and putting it back in usually resolves it...but it's irritating.Ver másVer menos

Like having someone whisper music directly into your ear!
The best way I can describe wearing the XC1 is like having someone whisper music directly into your ear — in the best possible way. I picked these up as my first pair of clip-style earbuds and honestly wasn't sure what to expect. I'm glad I gave them a shot. The build feels solid and the design is genuinely comfortable, even after wearing them for hours at a stretch. They won't blow your ears out with sheer volume, but that's not really what they're going for — and once you spend a few minutes dialing in the EQ through the Baseus app, they really open up and impress. The App & EQ — The Real Game ChangerIf you're willing to spend a little time in the app tweaking the 8-band EQ, these earbuds will reward you big time. The components underneath are high quality, and a bit of tuning pulls out a level of detail and richness I wasn't expecting at this price. I enjoy them at every volume level, but a little EQ work takes them from good to great.Dolby Spatial Audio — The Dolby Spatial processing is a cool feature that genuinely makes music feel like it's playing in a room rather than just inside your head. There are two modes — "Music" and "Cinema." Cinema is the winner for me; it adds nice depth without going overboard. Music mode felt a little too washed out in the highs for my taste. One thing I wish they'd fix: you can't use Dolby Spatial and the custom EQ at the same time. You have to pick one or the other, which is a bit frustrating when both features are this good.Dual Pairing — Genuinely ImpressiveI work in an office and switch constantly between my desktop and my phone, so dual-device pairing was a must. The XC1 handles this better than any earbuds I've tried — switching between two completely different devices is nearly instant. This alone makes them a go-to for office use.A Few Honest Gripes* Adjusting the EQ in the app causes a brief pause in your music while it updates — minor, but noticeable.* LDAC mode cuts off all your custom EQ and Dolby settings, and at max volume you can actually hear the audio compressing. Stick with the standard codec and you'll be much happier.* You can't change any app settings during a call or video meeting, which is a little annoying if you need to adjust on the fly.Great for Everyday LifeI've been wearing these all over New York City — commuting, walking around, sitting at my desk. They're perfect for situations where you want to enjoy your music but still need to stay aware of what's going on around you. I can also see these being a great companion on hikes or a day at the beach. The open-ear design isn't a downside here, it's actually the whole point.Bottom Line: If you're looking for a comfortable, great-sounding clip earbud for everyday use — especially in an office or on the go — the XC1 is well worth it. Just skip LDAC, spend five minutes with the EQ, and enjoy.

Great buds!
Got these on prime day for $100. I tried 3 different open ear type buds and these were the ones I chose to stick with. Love these so far! All the great things you read or hear about open ear type buds is true. I can wear these all day without the usual ear fatigue and soreness traditional buds give me.Why the Baseus Inspire XC1 won for me:1. Tuned by Bose. 🤷🏻‍♂️ whatever that means, but I found the sound quality to be superior to the Soundcore aeroclip 2, with a punchier bass which I appreciate even more for this style of bud that generally isn’t as loud as traditional headphones. The Tozos didn’t even come close. Calls were about the same on both the Soundcore and the Baseus.2. Although the Aeroclip 2 generally felt better in my ear (albeit only marginally), the discomfort of using it as a side-sleeper was far worse than when using the Baseus at bedtime. Baseus usually remains clipped all night, there was only one morning I woke up with it between me and the mattress. Overall, the Inspire XC1 performed better for me when talking comfort, which is the whole reason I wanted this type in the first place!3. Comparable battery to Soundcore 2 I’ve read reports that the Aeroclip case retains like a 8-10 hrs more juice for charging the buds. That being said, the Baseus and their case have plenty of battery life for most.4. A button! No touch controls for the Baseus. Tozo and Soundcore’s touch controls reminded me quickly why buttons are superior.Cons:1. Gotta check the app to get an accurate battery reading as the charging case gives little to no helpful information. Not a huge deal but kind of annoying.2. I wish these buds (and the Aeroclip 2) switched to mono audio when only using one bud, or at least offered the option to switch in the dedicated app. You end up missing the sounds from the other side on music that really takes advantage of stereo sound.Ironically, my least favorite and cheapest of the buds I purchased, the Tozos, had both mono for one bud usage and battery life indicators on the case 🤷🏻‍♂️.I’m not sure what these go for regular price, but at $100 I’m really pleased with the performance and comfort.Ver másVer menos
