Breathtaking quality
Ok lets get startedSound quality- Impeccable one of the best i have heard in a long time Dolby audio plus the AI tuning on these make this a great pair. The two silicone parts of the headphones allow for exchanging and soundcore provides extra tips which allow for the best fit inside the ear canal. Never seen this design used before but i must say it worked out tremendously well. It is very important to make sure you find the best fit for your ear before you start testing these. This changes the game entirely.Battery life- Wireless charging is a huge plus. So far so good no issues there but of course battery will degrade overtime but so far I am getting quite a bit of use out of these throughout the day.Build quality- Don’t get me wrong the screen is nice and functions well. Do i see the need for it ehh im in the middle. Honestly the plastic on the case seems a bit cheap the headphones themselves are great build quality but the case not so much. Not a negative but just something to look out for because now you have to worry about not dropping the case and screen cracking on the case.Call quality- Incredible one of the best I have ever heard you can literally watch reviews on these they are top of the line and i have no complaints here.App use- Customization on the app is great I enjoyed every aspect of it and loved digging through the many settings it has to offer. One thing to note is that Ai enhancements to your audio says that it will lower battery life so I tend not to use it since im a heavy listener. Better to switch it to Dolby audio or custom sound balance. But overall app use was great and no issues.Workout use- Will I use these for my workouts? Yes they are comfortable and fit in your ear precisely so no worries on them falling out while lifting.Price- A little expensive but you really do get a lot of what you pay for. Just the noise cancelling and the sound quality pays for itself. Pair that with a Guinness world record call quality, you really cannot beat it for the price point. MY NEW BEST BUDS!
I've been using these ear buds for a couple weeks. They have some major pros and and a few cons.First and most importantly, the microphone call quality is THE BEST I'VE EVER USED (and I've gone through at least a dozen different brands in the last few years searching for something like this). In crowded areas outside or inside, areas of my house with loud noises, in my office with other people talking, I've had ZERO problem being heard with no background noise coming through and every time I ask the person I'm talking to if they can hear other noises around me, they say "nope" and tell me it doesn't sound like I'm using earbuds. I've literally ran a sink and dropped a loud glass (by accident) and the person on the phone didn't hear anything. What?! They definitely live up to the name of Guinness World Record call quality and this is the biggest plus point they have. Other Pros: They do fit comfortably in my ear and come with different size bud ends, which is convenient. They do not fall out of my ear when running or exercising and I can wear them in the shower, but I take them out when I wash my head so they don't get soaked (they are not fully waterproof, but enough for a little splash here and there). I have them in for most of the day and don't even notice them or feel any pain in my ear. The case is sleek and easy to use. The touch screen on the case is cool and lets you choose different things like the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) function, sound effects, Dolby Atmos function (super cool) and a couple other features that I haven't messed around with yet like a remote picture button for your phone and a "find device" function. The ANC itself is very good and I would say blocks out a good 60% to 70% of noise around me, which is pretty good.Now for the (unfortunate) cons. The ANC function of the buds I have get a little wonky sometimes. If I open the case or put the other earbud in, or sometimes take a phone call, the ANC will turn on when I don't want it to. The right ear bud also sometimes makes a buzzing or vibration noise, but not all the time. I've had it happen a couple times when I'm mid a phone call, get a notification from another app and then suddenly I can't hear the person I'm talking to, but they can hear me. To fix it I have to unpair the headphones and pair them again, which is a little annoying, but not the end of the world. Now, these problems could just be this pair I have, so I'm returning them for a replacement and will see how the new ones work. I'll update this when I try them.Overall, I highly recommend these buds purely based on their microphone quality, which is amazing and completely worth it for me. I'm hoping the other kinks can be ironed out because they are otherwise the best headphones I've ever used.UPDATE: I got another pair and have been using them for a couple weeks. They work perfectly and the defects of the old pair did not happen with this new pair. So now, they are 5 STARS.

Thoroughly impressed!
I've been looking for buds with good call quality. I use them a lot for work calls, both on the phone and Teams/zoom. I have tried quite a few brands/models over the years, and most sound very good but pick up too much background noise from my end on calls.For video calls on the laptop, I had been using my web cam mic with the noise filtering in nvidia's Broadcast, which worked phenomenally well, but my new laptop does not have an nvidia GPU, so no more Broadcast. Plus, this didn't help with regular phone calls.Most recently, I tried the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro (I also have an S25 Ultra). I had high hopes, but these were a huge disappointment. The sound quality was good, but the fit and comfort were poor. Worse was that the mic volume would randomly drop on calls to the point that the other end could barely hear me (before eventually returning to normal level). I wasted so much time researching this (and found other people reporting it) and troubleshooting (disabling noise canceling, in-ear detection, etc.). Finally returned them.After reading about the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro and watching several youtube videos, I bought a pair. And I love them! The ANC for listening is great, but the mic noise cancelling on calls is INCREDIBLE! It works at least as well as nvidia Broadcast, and it's built into the buds, meaning it works for phone and laptop calls!That's another thing, these support 3-way multipoint, meaning 3 devices can be paired at the same time and dynamically switched between. So many times I've been caught trying to switch devices or connections when an unexpected call came in.While I'm thrilled with the call quality, I am also very happy with the sound, fit, and comfort. The wing tips are a nice addition. I also really like the case. While I didn't pay extra for the max, the display is still nice and functional. Plus that slide open/close feels slick.I've read concerns regarding battery life, but it hasn't seemed bad to me. Then again, I'm not turning on all of the battery hungry options, such as voice control and AI enhancement. That reminds me of yet another thing that impressed me...the companion app. It's is well designed, easy to use, and has a lot of features.I don't think there is any competition if call quality is important to you. I would definitely buy these again.And no, I don't work for Anker, and I wasn't compensated for this review! :D

Best earbuds for phone calls for the price.
I am upgrading from the Sony WF 1000 XM5. I use the earbuds with my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. First off, the case is bigger than the XM5 case. It's not huge, but I would prefer something smaller like the Apple AirPods Pro cases. Magnets in the case are much stronger than the XM5 case. The fit is great, they don't fill-up your ears like the XM5, and the ear fins keep the earbuds in place. They're a great upgrade in comfort. Seal is great. The touch and swipe controls work much better than the XM5 controls that were finicky and resulted in accidental touches. The microphone is the best that I have ever used, even in windy and loud conditions. Better than the XM5. The ANC is great, and it's better than the XM5. It approaches over-ear headphone levels. It has worked well for me on the bus, in taxis, and in the office. Sound tuning is great and works well. The sound signature out of the box is V-shaped, but can be tuned with the HearID tuning feature to bring down the bass, and bring up the the vocals and treble. Music volume is great. The ambient sound mode is more natural than the XM5 with less distortion and hiss, but I wish that it was adjustable. The app is excellent. The app is great on iPadOS and Android. I'm looking that your useless App that hangs and crashes all of the time, Bose. The battery life is great and charges fast. Be aware that I use earbuds in periods of half an hour to one hour, and then I take a break. The Bluetooth range is great since it goes a few feet further that the XM5. Each earbud and the case can be made to beep individually through the app if they are misplaced or lost. I took one star off for two reasons. First, the case is too big and the LCD screen on the case, while neat, is not necessary and a point of failure if the case is dropped. Second, the absence of the ambient sound mode being adjustable. The price is amazing for the features. Great upgrade. Highly recommended.Ver másVer menos

Not the best out there for my desires, but may fit your needs well
I am comparing these against earbuds I have from Google and Bose. My decision to purchase was based on reviews comparing against other brands and a number of comparison videos; however I feel those fell short for me. Though depending on what you need them for, I can see the use case. I will break this feedback into the following categories: price, unspoken functions (e.g. connection speed to phone, firmware updates), sound quality, microphone quality, ANC functionality, and fit/comfort.Price:I won't give an actual price as time, competition, place of purchase, sales, etc can impact what you actually pay. Comparatively, I think the Liberty 5 Pro is a decent price for what you get. The other earbuds I have both cost more and excel in places that are meaningful to me (ANC being a big one), but the mileage may differ for you and if the Liberty 5 Pro is in your price range, I don't think it would be a horrible choice.Unspoken Functions:There are a number of items that fit here. One of the most notable to me is the screen on the case. I get what they are trying to achieve, but it feels like a gimmick to me. The screen is hard to see in the sunlight, so if you plan to use it for managing profiles or ANC levels it is rough in full sun. I am also on the larger side, so it is tough to navigate with my larger fingers. Maybe the Max version does better, but I find the phone app to have quick responsiveness, explanations of what you are changing, and a better experience than the case navigation. I do like the default power levels of the earbuds and case which is better than any on-case power display I have seen.Connection speed from the case to my ear is the fastest of the earbuds I have. It is almost instantaneous and made me realize how frustrated I get with the other brands when it takes a few seconds to register and be able to play music. The earbuds also seem to be responsive in pausing music when removed which can be hit or miss with my Google earbuds.Firmware updates hopefully come on a rare occasion. Out of the box I applied a firmware update which took 15 minutes. Given what these are running, that seems long and it seems odd to need to schedule an update around when I want to use the earbuds. Though the other two I have will occasionally have updates, I haven't seen them exceed a couple minutes let alone the 15 these took.Sound Quality:I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality from these. I am not an audiophile, but would put them close to what I get on the Bose and ahead of the Google earbuds. I think the Bose wins out here mainly because in my use case, they are more effective in the ANC category which gives the impression of clearer sound. However while in an office without the daily commute on a train, it is hard for me to notice a difference between these and Bose. One item I have noticed, these can get louder than both the Bose and Google earbuds. I only had them at about 40-50% and feel the volume was near what I get at 100% on the other two I have.Microphone Quality:This is the best microphone experience I have had. Both of my other earbuds and even a set I used to have for my work phone (Apple device) still picked up quite a bit of backup noise while on a walk, if it was windy, or during commute times (whether flying or on train). These earbuds stand out on that front, and I see them as a pre and post-workday solution when I need to be on calls.ANC:Compared to my other earbuds, this is where these fall flat. They do some and I have gone through the various fittings to see if I could make it more effective, but they really don't cut it for me. Whether fair or not, my baseline here are the Bose earbuds which have the best ANC I have experienced. Though these do, in my opinion, perform on par with the Google earbuds (which I don't use as much mainly because of the ANC shortfall). A big part of my frustration likely comes from the marketing and other reviews that don't differentiate well between the ANC and microphone filtering. The ANC itself is okay, but not what I would consider great.Comfort/Fit:These are acceptable in my opinion for comfort. I don't think they are uncomfortable, but unlike the other earbuds, I know they are there. It is hard to forget I have them in. However, I will say that these feel more firmly seated than my other earbuds. Similar to the ANC, I really don't wear the Google earbuds much because even though they claim improvements, I still have them pop out on runs, workouts, and long walks. These seem to stay firmly seated with needing to reposition.Overall:For me, I wouldn't call these my favorite earbuds, but do see where they fill a gap for me during conference calls while on the go. I use public transit (trains) which can be loud and produce a lot of background noise when I am speaking. While the ANC on my end isn't as good as I would like, the volume control of the Liberty 5 Pro compensates for that shortfall, and makes a better call experience for my use case.

Amazing earbuds, almost perfect aside from a few nitpicks
I really do like these earbuds, but they do need some adjustments with the EQ when taking them out of the box. The stock EQ had any music I play sound "tinny", like a set of really cheap earbuds. Previously I didn't have this issue with Soundcore as the Hear ID test was enough, but after trying Hear ID with this the results were still not great. You'll definitely need to tweak and adjust the EQ manually to get what you want. I've been using the EQ from earbud reviewer El Jefe on YouTube as my EQ for these buds) Sadly it seems the Hear ID feature isn't as reliable anymore.One unfortunate issue I have is these aren't very loud, but yes they can produce volume loud enough to certainly harm your hearing, and there are other buds out there that are much louder. My other buds like the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are significantly louder, worse yet is Soundcore's own Liberty 5 from last year are louder as well. I even purchased a 2nd set of the 5 Pros just to make sure these weren't defective. (My first set were defective but that was due to muddy audio) This has been a common issue I've seen in various reviews; but I only see this as an issue if you play your music insanely loud.On a more positive note, the ANC and transparency modes are pretty good. The only other buds I can compare these to is the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, and while the ANC isn't quite as good as those, the transparency is much better. (The transparency mode on the Buds 4 Pros were very subdued and quiet, even with it cranked as high as it'll go, not the case here with the Liberty 5 Pro) I personally don't need amazing ANC where it's to the point of sensory deprivation, but these were plenty enough to act as ear plugs when I was at a convention helping with karaoke and having a speaker half my size blasting as loud as it could just 5 feet away. (And still could hear any music I personally wanted to listen lol)Regarding the fit, I will say these may be the most secure fitting earbuds you can probably get. With wing tips and plenty of options for 3rd party eartips (I personally use Spinfit's Omni eartips), so you'll find something that'll work. I've been out on walks, jogs, at the gym, and when using an earbud pillow, these do not fall out. Seriously impressive.Probably the best feature of these earbuds are the microphones, they're among the best you can get outside of Apple or Samsung. I've been on numerous discord calls and regular phone calls and my voice is very clear. (Even when I've had a fan blowing directly in my face, which is amazing) However the mics do drain the battery quite a bit when in long calls. (A 2 1/2 hour discord call drained the buds to 38%) This can be an issue for some, but these do charge rather quickly. A 20 minute charge in the charging case topped them off at 100% easily.Speaking of the charging case, the little screen it comes with is rather handy. While I don't have the Max model, the screen is rather useful when seeing what the battery life is, or when swapping to another device thanks to the triple multipoint it has. (Legitimately useful if you have a work and personal phone with a laptop with you) It's quite handy to just pull out the case and see the battery life for the case and the buds right there.If I had any grievances, my only issues is the lack of a gaming mode, the battery life when on phones calls, and that Hear ID isn't as reliable when compared to past Soundcore earbuds. (Again, do explore and play with the EQ to get much better sound, almost thought my buds were defective with how bad the stock EQ is) Otherwise these may be the best earbuds that aren't from companies like Sony, Bose, Apple or Samsung. While those will have better sound quality and ANC, the fact that the Liberty 5 Pro are within the same ballpark for a much cheaper price (Provided you aren't getting the Max model which is overkill in my opinion) is remarkable. Especially as these have triple multipoint, making them great for business if you have a work and personal phone with a laptop. I'm hoping Soundcore will patch in a gaming mode at some point, but for most people these will be more than enough. I'd say they're among the most practical earbuds you can get.
