Good small desktop laserjet printer.
Amazing printer. I have yet to experience a jam. Can print on both sides of the paper very quickly. Does not take up too much space on the desk. Wifi is great on it allowing me to print from my phone and laptop, while keeping it plugged into my desktop.

Easy set up!
I’m not the most tech savvy person so was a little hesitant to get this. Set up was a breeze! It took me about 30 minutes from wrestling it out of the box (tight fit and very heavy) to printing a test page with a WiFi connection. This is a commercial-quality printer so should last for many years. It’s a little loud, but prints very fast.Ver másVer menos

Good printer at a good price
I just received this printer. I took it out of the box, removed the tape, installed the paper and then turned on the power. It came right up and my system recognized the printer immediately. I then printed a couple of pictures which it did fairly quickly. This thing warms very quickly which is a far cry from my HP4550. The print quality is very good and it prints quickly. So far I'm happy with this printer. However, I just received it, so, I'll see how it does over time. At this point I can say that if you're looking for a color laser at a good price you should definitely consider this one. I'm currently using Linux Mint Debian version at this point. I have a Widows10 machine and I'll test that one in a day or two.Update: I downloaded the LBP646C print driver for Windows10 and it worked just fine. Just know that you'll have to go to the preferences section and tell the driver that you want to print in color. So, this means that you can toggle whether you want to print in "black and white" or "color".Unfortunately, this thing only lasted about two weeks before it broke. Any product can have issues as nobody manufactures a 100% perfect item. I sent it back and bought a Brother3280 and so far I've been very happy with the performance of the Brother.Ver másVer menos

Perfect for home office & Apple compatible
Great printer, replaced my old inkjet that always dried up cartridge when I’d go to print, so now I switched to a toner printer. Been great, prints well, color is good, seamless connection to my WiFi, just be sure to NOT choose the 5G connection, I used the 2.5G that popped up when searching. Easy to print from iPhone using canon app. Must use Apple AirPrint to print from MAC laptop, no canon app for laptop. Reading reviews spelled out much of these issues in advance, so I had not issues getting up and running. After two months, still working great.Ver másVer menos

Reliable color print quality. Easy installation.
I bought this printer for my 88 year old mother who had become frustrated with her existing ink jet printer as the print heads kept drying out and clogging. This printer was simple to install and so far no issues. Mom even bought photographic print paper and is now printing digital photographs for her scrap books. She figured out the printer's scan and copy features on her own. She even figured out how to print pictures from her cell phone with out my help !Ver másVer menos

Best Printer Ever
Best printer I've ever had (might not be saying a lot...). It replaced an Epson Eco-tank that did work fine for several years, but started acting wonky. This was only slightly more than what I paid for the Epson 5 years ago. Works seemlessly, no troubles even with my OS (Linux). It's like going from dial-up to fiber Internet. Printer is great. Supplied printer apps suck.
This printer appears well constructed, packing was more than sufficient for shipping, and actual unpacking and physical setup was a snap. Prints quickly, color and black and white are both crisp and clean. Two-sided printing works flawlessly.The problem, which seems to be true for all printer manufacturers and consistent for years now, is that software setup sucks. Canon was no exception here. The simplest method of setup after multiple attempts, was to simply ignore the app and use the printer's built-in menus to set things up manually.I don't know where the various printer manufacturers find their programmers, but the general attitude appears to be that the apps supplied are considered to be completely unimportant, so any programmer will do. It also appears that the actual process is never, ever tested in the field using non-technical people. They almost NEVER work properly the first time.Frankly, the apps seem to never be tested using technically skilled people either, as setup using apps from any printer manufacturer never seem to work in any environment that isn't so simple and standardized that one will never, ever encounter it.Ver másVer menos

Works fine, but MS updates can stop your prints
Worked for about 10 days, good print quality and prints fast. Prints labels well also. At some point IT or MS pushed an update. After that the PC no longer connected to my printer. Tried to reinstall a few times, switched cables , power down and nothing worked. Took printer home to my iMac, installed a driver and worked instantly. Didn’t even have to setup anything , printer was already listed. Frustrating but I don’t think I can say it’s Canon’s fault. In both cases I used a USB cable to connect.Ver másVer menos
