Sturdy Tablet Arm Mount That Holds Position Without Sagging
Quick Verdict: A well-built aluminum tablet arm that securely supports heavier tablets and stays exactly where you position it, without the sagging common with many spring-arm stands.I purchased the Urmust tablet stand to mount an 11-inch Android tablet at my desk. The tablet serves as a dedicated display for weather, news, and multimedia controls, so I wanted something sturdy that could stay in position all day without slowly drooping. So far, this stand has performed exactly as I hoped. The build quality is impressive. The arm uses a double-beam aluminum design, and the joints feel solid and stable. My tablet weighs about 2.5 lbs (1.12 kg), and the mount holds it securely without any sagging. Unlike spring-loaded arms that rely on internal tension, this design uses adjustable friction joints, which can be tightened to support heavier tablets without drifting over time.An Allen wrench is included so you can adjust the joint tension. Once dialed in, the arm stays exactly where you place it.The tablet clamp grips the frame securely, and the arm also includes built-in cable clips for routing the power cable neatly along the arm. For my setup I use a braided USB-C cable so the tablet can remain powered continuously.Mounting options are flexible as well. The base can be hand-tightened to the edge of a desk or table, but it also allows screw or bolt mounting for more permanent installations. Since my tablet is part of a permanent desk setup, that option was particularly useful.Pros• Sturdy aluminum construction with double-beam arm design• Holds heavier tablets without sagging• Adjustable friction joints with included Allen wrench• Secure tablet clamp grips• Cable clips help keep power cables neatly routed• Flexible mounting options (desk clamp or permanent mount)Cons• The large plastic nut that adjusts the swivel behind the tablet clamp can be a bit finicky to tighten by hand, though once set it works fine.I’ve been using this mount with an 11-inch tablet weighing about 2.5 lbs, and it holds the device firmly in place without drifting or drooping. For a permanent desk setup, it has been very stable.Who This Is For• Anyone wanting a stable tablet mount for a desk or workstation• Users mounting larger or heavier tablets• People creating a permanent control panel or monitoring displayWho This May Not Be For• Users looking for a very lightweight portable stand•People who prefer quick-adjust spring arms rather than tension-adjustable jointsOverall, this is a quality-made tablet arm mount that provides solid support and stable positioning, especially compared to cheaper spring-arm stands that tend to sag over time. For a desk setup or permanent installation, it’s a dependable choice.Ver másVer menos
