The tablet serves as a dedicated display for weather, news, and multimedia controls, so I wanted something sturdy that could stay in position all day without slowly drooping.So far, this stand has performed exactly as I hoped.The build quality is impressive. The arm uses a double-beam aluminum design, and the joints feel solid and stable. My tablet weighs about 2.5 lbs (1.12 kg), and the mount holds it securely without any sagging. Unlike spring-loaded arms that rely on internal tension, this design uses adjustable friction joints, which can be tightened to support heavier tablets without drifting over time.An Allen wrench is included so you can adjust the joint tension. Once dialed in, the arm stays exactly where you place it.The tablet clamp grips the frame securely, and the arm also includes built-in cable clips for routing the power cable neatly along the arm. For my setup I use a braided USB-C cable so the tablet can remain powered continuously.Mounting options are flexible as well. The base can be hand-tightened to the edge of a desk or table, but it also allows screw or bolt mounting for more permanent installations.   Much Better Quality Than Expected

  I bought these because they were cheap, and no other reason. I fully expected to replace them in the long run. But honestly, they have held up really well over several months of use. They were easy to install, clamp quite sturdily to a thick desk, and are easy to mount, adjust, tighten and easy to move, to boot. My only complaint is that they wobble a little bit, but they have yet to loosen or fail.When you first unpack them they seem thin and weak, but we use them for iPads with a heavy-duty (and just plain heavy) protective case, and they're able to keep them locked in place despite the weight.   Nice product but too short for headboard or rear mounting

  This is a well made tablet arm but I found it to be too short to mount behind me on my headboard. My headboard has lots of sturdy mount points at various angles so attaching the base was not the issue there, but with the arm length being as it is made it impossible for me to get my tablet facing forward at a reasonable distance from the mount point. Another issue I discovered with my desired headboard mount is that since the mount has 3 arm segments it's not possible to get something like a larger tablet or monitor to face forward without obstructing the 3rd segment... so effectively you can only extend the arm out the length of 2 arm segments.Another mount issue I discovered is that the arm is only effectively able to be mounted vertically as there is no way to secure the 360 degree rotation at the base, so while it does have some resistance it will rotate under its own weight if mounted horizontally and with no way to lock it in place.Therefore, while I found the mount to be of high quality and well made otherwise I do not recommend this one if you intend to mount it behind the viewing point. If you are able to face the mounting point (such as on a desk), or perhaps off to the side or slightly in front of you (like on a nightstand or table) then it's a great choice.Ultimately I went with a floor stand mount for my portable monitor and I found that to be the best solution to get my monitor facing in front of me at the perfect position when laying in bed.Ver másVer menos

  Long and does the job!

  The only product I know that had this length. It does not hold exactly where you want it cause of the weight but in fairness, this extends out pretty far. Good quality and works well in our camper to hold an iPad to be our tv. Simple install and portable.

  get ready for a whole new relationship with your screen

  this is great but i dont really like what it says about me and my life. now, i can jam a screen RIGHT UP INTO MY FACE FOR HOURS WITHOUT BREAK. hmm where have i seen this image before, clockwork orange? it's pretty high quality. you can precisely aqdjust the friction of the joints to make sure they stay put but are also easy to move, just dont lose that wrench that comes with it.so yeah, $27 is a bargain imo and i'm sure ill get a lot of use out of it BUT AT WHAT COST TO MY SOULVer másVer menos

  One of my best investments of this year

  This arm mount and tablet holder is fantastic! The positioning options/configurations are nearly endless. My only small complaint is that I would've appreciated the actual tablet holder to be half of an inch deeper. However, no big deal there.The clamp's grip strength and is firm, substantial, and very stable, leaving no nothing to worry about.Final thoughts: This 3 arm mount is designed very well and highly functionalNOTE TO SELLER: I would highly recommend providing this 3 arm mount option paired with a magnetic holder attachment.Ver másVer menos
