So far so good with 2 monitors, ethernet & 4 USB items, power passthrough also works
Once this has been set up, this is working as expected. I did find that if I followed the order the included instructions provides to connect everything, connect to your laptop & then install the drivers, things did not work for me. The external monitors would either show static or constantly bounce between static & the Windows login screen so I was notable to even log in.What I needed to do is disconnect everything from the docking station expect the power & connect to my laptop. I then downloaded & installed the drivers (which required Admin id / password). Once installed I powered down & then connected everything & powered back up.I do find that when powering up that there is about a 1 - 2 second lag from when the Laptop presents the login screen & then the external monitors are then made available. This is actually slower then a USB hub I was using that also supported 2 HDMI monitor connections & ethernet.I have been using this now for several days & everything is working as expected. I am using the ethernet port, 3 - 4 USB ports & 2 HDMI monitors. I am also using the headset jack to supply some external speakers. The power supply through the docking station is providing enough power that I don't need to also connect my power supply to my laptop, so this is 1 less connection when I am working from home. I have not tried to also use 1 or 2 more monitors through the Display Port connections as I only have 2 monitors. This docking station with 100W charging is on the pricier side compared to some others. Hopefully this will last longer then the prior docking station I was using & if this does fail out of warranty, I can still go back to my $40 USB hub that provides almost the same features.Ver másVer menos

Awesome docking station
This works great! It was very easy to follow the setup instructions to connect to my laptop. Now it connects uick and easy when I plug it in. Its so much nicer being able to plug in on cord instead of multiple to connect my monitors, printers, and scanners. It charges quite well also. I love being able to have dual large monitors now. Just make sure you have a dual monitor setup, for it to support monitors with dual extended display you use and HDMI and a Display port, or 2 display port cables for it to work right. Once connected correctly they monitors work great. Overall great value at a much lower price than other docking stations for a nice sturdy dock.Ver másVer menos

Easy Set Up, No Configuration, Lots of USB Ports, Solid Build, Works out of the Box, Bit Pricey
Set up was easy, nothing really much to do except plug in power and connections to laptop and monitors. An instruction guide is included that takes you step-by-step through the process, simple to follow and very well laid out and good illustrations. Step 5 has information on downloading a DisplayLink driver, but as I had no issues in connecting two monitors to the laptop I didn’t need any additional drivers so skipped that for now. Both monitors are HDMI, non-4K, and video is crisp on the two monitors with good response rates as I moved between the displays; you can choose between either HDMI or DP, as there are two ports for each connection type on the back. As I use wireless for connectivity on the laptop I also didn’t use or need the Ethernet port, but again, no issues and download/upload speeds were not impacted (which they’re shouldn’t be). There’s ample available ports on this docking station, with 5 USB-A and 1 USB-C on the front, so plenty of space for mouse, external keyboard if desired, USB speakers, external CD/DVD/BluRay drive, and so on. Power connection is via a USB-C port on the side, which helps keep cabling a little bit cleaner, although if you do make use of several of the front USB ports, it’s harder to manage cable sprawl. Pricing is a little high (about $175 at time of order) when compared to similar docking stations, but the build quality appears to be excellent, great user guide, easy and simple to use, everything (so far) just works without issue or any real configuration, so the value looks to be there for this system.Ver másVer menos
