Excellent camera, easy setup, and great night vision!
This camera exceeded my expectations! The setup was quick and easy, and I really appreciate that it works with both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz WiFi — that made a huge difference with connection stability. The solar charging works great, so I don’t have to worry about constantly recharging it. The video quality is very clear, even at night, and the color night vision is impressive. Motion detection is accurate and I like that it focuses on human movement instead of triggering for everything. The two-way audio is clear, and overall the camera feels well-built and reliable. For an outdoor wireless camera, this is an excellent value. I feel much more secure having it installed. Highly recommend!Ver másVer menos

Basic cam, but need to pay for extra features
I got this cam because I saw that it works with the Vicohome app, and was advertised as having various useful features such as monitoring zones, person recognition, etc. Turns out, none of hose features are available for free, and you need to pay a fee to Vicohome to have those features. This was disappointing, especially since another cam K purchased that worked with the app, included those features without having to pay extra. The Sansco camera installed easily. Just press the power button until it comes to life. In the Vicohome app, you can add the cam, and it will connect to your home wifi. Without paying for a subscription you get some basic features for free. You can access the video feed via the app and view in real time, including hearing audio, and talking to the app and through the cam's speaker. It will record motion events to the cloud, as 1-min clips. There's a required delay between clips (the "cloud cooldown time") -- the minimum time you can set this to is 1-min, and so you will miss some video in between clips, which is annoying. You have an option to record in SD or HD. Recordings for the last 3 days are available via the cloud. It includes a slot for a microSD memory card, but one was not included, and so I did not test onboard recording. Unlike my other Vicohome-compatible camera, which has settings for turning on person recognition, this Sansco cam doesn't show the feature, and instead prompts you to join a paid tiers in the app. You do not need to pay though for it to notify you in real-time via the app when it senses motion. The cam is designed to be used indoors or outdoors, and has a rechargeable battery. It's charged by USB C. I got a separate solar panel, plugged it in via USB C, was able to maintain charge for the cam.If you just need basic features this is a viable camera solution. Just do not expect to get all the features mentioned in the product description without paying for added fees to the Vicohome app.Ver másVer menos
