This one, this one I should gatekeep...
This may be the only bottle of perfume I have where I itch to get a backup bottle. This opened the door to me wanting to branch into smoky scents and although I'm late to the game, I want Replica by the fireplace too and just ordered Billy Eilish 2 because the smokey mix had me thinking, "maybe I can do some non-MEs too.... " I do so love a good middle eastern scent the quality is bar none and the longevity is adirable. WHY pay more when you don't have to for very often a better product. The House of Lattafa never sleeps and if you really want to try MEs.... start here.I read fruity, I hear raspberry but to me my nose cannot pick it out on it's own. I think it gives the slight sweet nudge in the beginning. I think my nose and my brain graviate SO fast to the woody, amber and spicy (though so well blended spicy is hard to say for me too) that it skips the fruit aspect or combines it.This is an olfactory wonder, a masterpiece, and the best warm blend Lattafa has done. Warm blends considered my top 5 would be (Can I pair it down to five?!) from Sublime (top) to amazingly awesome (bottom but still better than most)Fire on Ice (supposedly an Angel Share Pardis dupe)Her Confession (supposedly a dupe for Blance Bete)Petra (Blend often said to be inspired by Quatro Pizz, Bianco Latte, and Killian's angel share)Peace and Love (Soie Malaquais)Artisan Ethnique (BTSO Sugar)Honestly don't consider those in any order it is REALLY hard to decide on any one of them for 2nd place let alone the other 3 spots. I think honorable mention here should go to Musamam White intense but for all the differences of the scent notes to me it smells like a slightly sharper more coconutty scent to Peace and love.Because I hear all scents mentioned are 'controversial' - sister, if you like florals only don't go branching out into non-florals and then have disdain when there's not floral to be found? :) (Who knows why one nose likes something another nose does not but I have such a hard time believing people don't like this one lol ) People can like what they like but this one, for the hype, should have been hyped 10x what it was.I will buy this again - I'm going to get a backup by the end of the year. I have enough delicious bottles of perfume where the one I have will take years to finish but this chica is not going to go without this soft, warm, smoky, vanilla luxury in a bottle. ALSO should mention this is soft, this one you can overspray a bit and I dont' think it would be too offensive in most places - maybe go lighter at the office.
