Works Great and Easy to Set Up
I’ve had a great experience with this capture card. The video quality is sharp, setup was quick, and it worked without any issues. Great hardware but consider different software.
Purchased this to stream our consoles to our PCs. The hardware is great and easy to set up, just make sure you're not plugging it into a USB hub as that can hinder the quality of the stream and induce stuttering. Plugged directly into your PC it should be fine. We primarily connected it for our Nintendo Switch, and the quality is basically standard passthrough quality, it looks great. You can also combine it with an upscaler adapter if you prefer, like the m-classic.If you plan to play using the software preview though, there is considerable latency on Elgatos 4k capture tool. Highly recommend using OBS instead as their preview only induces a tiny bit of latency and is incredibly playable. But the hardware does come with a secondary HDMI out so you can have a passthrough feed directly on your monitor if you prefer the least latency.Great device and that what it's supposed to do and I use it all the time now.Ver másVer menos

Excellent Capture Card with Outstanding Performance, but Be Aware of the PS5 HDCP Setting 🙃
I’ve had a great experience with the Elgato 4K capture card overall. Once everything was set up correctly, it performed exactly as advertised. The video quality is excellent, recordings are smooth, and I haven’t experienced any noticeable input delay or recording lag. For gaming and content creation, it’s been a reliable addition to my setup.One thing I think PS5 users should know before purchasing is that you’ll need to disable the HDCP setting on your PlayStation before using the capture card. If you don’t, you’ll likely be greeted with a black screen, which can be frustrating if you aren’t aware of the cause. Once I disabled HDCP, the capture card worked flawlessly.The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is because disabling HDCP comes with a tradeoff. I typically use my PS5 for more than just gaming—I also watch YouTube and Netflix. Since HDCP must remain disabled while using the capture card, I had to change how I use my console because those streaming apps require HDCP to function. It’s not an issue with the capture card itself, but it’s something potential buyers should be aware of before purchasing.Overall, this is an excellent capture card that delivers high-quality recordings with dependable performance. If your primary goal is recording or streaming gameplay, I highly recommend it. Just be sure to disable HDCP on your PS5 before getting started, and you’ll save yourself a lot of unnecessary troubleshooting.Ver másVer menos

Good Price Point For What You Get
Love Elgato Products , Have Had Them In The Past With the HD60 And HD60S , Now I Am Using The 4ks Card , What Was The Only Problem Was That My Pc Did Not Have A USBC Port So I Had To Get A USB A Adaptor To Go Over The USBC Cord Then Plug It In My Pc Then All Was Good , This Capture Card Is Worth The Money, It Is Compatible With Pc , Functions Good At 720 p And 1080 p, Easy To Use , I Use It On My PS5 To Content Create Streaming Off Twitch , Tik Tok and KickVer másVer menos
