Quality of life update for the DualSense if nothing else.
I’ve been using this controller for six months. The back buttons are unused but a nice addition. The two ‘Fn’ buttons are my most used feature, allowing me to change the volume and button layout on the fly. I like using headphones off a DAC, and this controller solved the only issue with wired headphones. The ergonomics are good, the weight feels good, and the long charging cable is a great addition since the controller dies fast. I use it as a wired controller, but I’ll definitely buy another one if something goes wrong.Ver másVer menos

Instead of replacing the whole controller due to the all-too-common issue of stick drift, you can just swap out the stick modules—an option that can save significant money and frustration in the long run. An awesome Controller that you wish you would have had all along!
Honestly, I don't know how I have lived without this controller! The extra adjustments on the controller itself are a game changer (pun intended)! Adding the extra buttons the you can assign to any other button on your controller is a very nice feature! I don't know how many times I have died in a game due to hitting the wrong D-Pad button!Where I was misinformed, and something I wish they would incorporate, is the two extra buttons can only be assigned to existing buttons. What I was really hoping for, was two extra buttons that you could assign to other moves/abilities in game settings. In a perfect world, that would be awesome! But, this is life, and we take what we can get.Otherwise, I absolutely love this controller! The awesome case it comes with has the extra sticks (long and short), and two sets of buttons that go on the bottom of the controller. The fin buttons are perfect to add as specific D-Pad buttons that can be hard to get at. They go two different directions (in and out), but do the same thing. Maybe they'll have an update in the future that allows the direction to be assigned to different buttons. It would be nice to have access to all 4 D-Pad buttons underneath the controller, where it's much to access.Although a bit spendy, I found it to be well worth the expense!Ver másVer menos

Excellent controller
Love this controller. I play fps games and I never lose a gunfight now. I could easily go pro if I wanted to but I'm not that good.

I love the DualSense Edge Controller, BUT...
...the charging port construction SUCKS! I really enjoy the backpaddles and ergonomics. However, it has become incredibly difficult to charge. Plugging in the USB-C cable is not enough; I have to bend and angle the charging cable until FINALLY the orange lights indicate the DualSense Edge is receiving a charge.Word of advice: If you buy the Edge, do NOT charge it while you are playing. Only charge the controller while it is sitting perfectly still, like when you are at work or going to school. I charged it while I played - I do this with all my controllers - and this was a big mistake. All that moving around damaged the weak charging port. The DualSense Edge is too damn fragile to play while it's charging. Sony recognizes an issue with the charging port, - they even include a plastic clip to secure the charging cable to the charging port. Sadly, the clip is not enough, and my DualSense Edge is dying a slow death as a result. All the buttons and sticks work great, but it is now so difficult to charge I just use other controllers. That is sad, because this is honestly my favorite PlayStation controller.Ver másVer menos

Love the Customization, Hate the Battery Life
I’ve been using the DualSense Edge for about a month now, and I’ll be honest — it’s one of the most premium controllers I’ve ever held, but it also comes with a few things you should really consider before spending this much.Build & Comfort:Right out of the box, the controller feels sturdy and high-end. The textured grips are a huge improvement over the standard DualSense, especially during long gaming sessions. The weight is a bit heavier, but in a good way — it feels solid and balanced in the hands.Customization:The back paddles are a game-changer for me. They’re fully remappable and make a noticeable difference in games like Call of Duty and Elden Ring. I also love that you can save multiple profiles and switch between them on the fly. The adjustable trigger stops are another great touch if you like quick trigger pulls for shooters.Performance:Input response feels identical to the regular DualSense — crisp and precise. Haptics and adaptive triggers still feel as immersive as ever. The modular thumbsticks are convenient; being able to swap them out (and even replace the modules if they wear down) gives me confidence this controller will last longer than most.Battery Life:Here’s the biggest downside — battery life isn’t great. I get around 5–6 hours max, which is noticeably less than the regular DualSense. It’s not a dealbreaker for me since I usually play plugged in, but it’s worth mentioning.Price:It’s definitely expensive, and that’s where this controller will divide people. You’re paying for customization and premium feel, not necessarily a huge gameplay advantage. If you’re a casual player, the standard DualSense is still fantastic. But if you’re into competitive or long-session gaming, the Edge feels like a worthy upgrade.Final Thoughts:Overall, the DualSense Edge is a beautifully crafted, highly customizable controller that delivers where it counts — comfort, precision, and adaptability.
