The combination of powerful next-gen hardware and efficient cooling means it stays responsive even during long gaming sessions, with minimal throttling and surprisingly controlled temperatures for a high-performance laptop.The display is another standout feature. The high refresh rate panel makes gameplay feel incredibly fluid, giving a real competitive edge in fast-paced games. So far so good only a few hours on it tops but plays any game ive thrown at it so far. (Fatekeeper,bf5,arena breakout, far cry primal,rocket league etc.

No THUNDERBOLT PORT
no thunderbolt port. Main reason i picked this laptop to run a 32 oled monitor in dp mode. Sill works at lower hdni mode. Other than that its a nice laptop.Update It will do thuderbolt thru Usb -c 3.2, You Just have to buy a Usb -c to thunderbolt adapter,

Stays cool and handels most games
Great entry level gaming laptop. It's handeld legacy hogworts and planet zoo wonderfully well. Ive not had any problems with heat or and stalling.

My experience with this gaming laptop
I’ve had a great experience with the ASUS ROG Strix G16 (2025). This is my first actual gaming laptop since I either primarily play on PS5 or my actual gaming setup. I needed this since I like to squeeze in a game wherever and whenever I can. The performance and speed have been excellent—I’ve never experienced any slowness, and everything runs incredibly smooth, whether I’m gaming or using it for everyday tasks. It’s also surprisingly quiet for the most part, and while heat hasn’t been an issue for me, I’d still recommend getting a cooling pad for longer gaming sessions. The screen quality is fantastic, with beautiful graphics and a smooth 165Hz display that makes games look and feel amazing. I bought mine on sale for around $1,200, which made it an incredible value for the money, but even at its current price of around $1,500, I believe it’s a powerful, reliable laptop that I’d highly recommend.Ver másVer menos
