  The budget x870e mobo

  Great mobo for the budget x870e but sacrifices some ports for lighting and some luxuriesTheres 3 rgb ports so you will have to daisy chain but i used with the swafans from thermaltake and that made it much easierGreat board but make no mistake they have sacrificed in some areas to make it an x870e board and this is the lowest line for msi but i didnt know that at the timeId step up to their more premium lines and look up the differences in their motherboard lineup(meta pcs on YouTube made a video on the topic explaining the differences in the msi lineup)I run cyberpunk 2077 full raytracing consistently above 180 fps with a 9800x3d and nitro+ 9070xtHasnt failed me just make sure to update the bios:)Ver másVer menos

  Works as it should. No complaints Currently running 9950X3D with no issues.Getting over 40,000 Cinebench R23 PBO DisabledGen5x4 M.2 is insane.Be mindful even though the secondary PCIe slots are 16x wide, they are actually X1 Gen3 and X4 Gen4 from Chipset not CPU. Which is about as good as you can find these days.I wish these boards had better PCIe lanes.Only has 4 SATA ports.Ver másVer menos

  flaky wifi. still not fixed after a year.

  do not buy this board if using wifi. the wifi will work for a week or so. then randomly stop working. this is a known issue on forums. you have to clear the cmos and reset everything up in bios. this is a massive pain in the ass. the first time you encounter you’ll waste hours trying to figure out what you installed that broke it, only to finally figure out it’s at the bios level. updating bios as of nov 2025 doesn’t fix it.i’ve had hella issues on waking from suspend which i’m gonna attribute to this board but who knows. super frustrating for how expensive these boards are.Ver másVer menos

  reliable and clean looking board

  coming from an asrock x570, this board is a nice refresh that doesnt go too overboard with the look!it fits it perfectly i recently just got my 5070 Ti off fb and wanted to pair with my 9700x. Im very happy with the boards features especially the DDR5 8000MT/s and pcie 5 . I didnt have any issues booting up my computer and it seems like a durable board with good cooling from the frozr. with the 3 m.2 slots i can just use my 2 1tb NVme M.2 SSD on this board no problem and even maybe add another later on.Ver másVer menos
