Nice computer, especially for what I paid for it.
I read several reviews that stated that the computer did NOT come with a DVD drive installed, so I ordered a DVD drive. Mine came with a DVD drive already installed. I opened the case and could tell that it had been used a bit.. a little bit of dust residue inside, but the case itself is clean and I didn't notice any wear on it. It looks brand new from the outside.I pulled the computer out of the box, hooked everything up, plugged in my Ubuntu installer, booted to it, installed Ubuntu and in about 30 minutes, this thing was up and running. Installed all of the applications that I need and I'm working on my new (used) computer.If anyone is looking for an affordable computer, this one is affordable. I'm not a Windows guy, and I didn't boot to Windows on this computer so I can't speak to the operating system, but it runs Ubuntu and it's fast.I will say though, that the small form factor kind of threw me. I've always had a normal sized tower computer and have always set it next to my desk on the floor. I've purchased a shelf that I'll mount to the side of my desk and put the computer onto the shelf.Anyway, I can't say enough about the experience. It was as simple as it could have been.I'm trying to get all of the "ideas" checked off below the text box that I'm typing in... the only one left is reliability and I can't speak to that since I've had this thing for less than 24 hours. If I can remember, I'll add to this review in the future once I see how things go.Ver másVer menos
