The Perfect Device for Watching Videos on TV
I recently purchased this media player and HDD enclosure, and it has been fantastic for sharing media on a big TV screen. The best part about this device is how incredibly simple it is to use. All you have to do is plug in your USB flash drive or SD card, and you can instantly play videos or music. The included remote control is also straightforward and easy to navigate. Plus, it comes with an HDMI cable in the box, so you can connect it to your TV and start using it right away without any extra trips to the store. This device has been especially useful for playing videos from family trips directly on the TV so everyone can watch together.Overall - If you are looking for a hassle-free way to watch family videos, display digital signage, or play media from an external drive, this is an excellent choice. It’s reliable, user-friendly, and convenient to use.Ver másVer menos

Perfect for Playing Wedding Photos & Videos — Easy to Use and Great Value!
I purchased this 4K Ultra HD Media Player specifically to play my wedding photos and videos, and it exceeded my expectations. The picture and video quality are stunning — everything looks crisp and vibrant on the big screen. Setup was a breeze, and the navigation is very intuitive, so you don’t need to be tech-savvy to get started. I love how smoothly it handles both photos and videos without any lag or issues. For the price, you really can’t beat the value. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable way to enjoy their media at home.Ver másVer menos

GBB-0015 – JLZNLC Media Player - Your Digital Safe Deposit Box
This is GoBag Item 0015, and it earns its place by doing one job extremely well: making sure your critical digital files are organized, readable, and ready when everything else isn’t.Five out of five stars—because data you can’t open is just dead weight. This little box proves your files will play on whatever screen you can find. This isn’t about movie night. It’s about preparedness. In a real emergency, paperwork, instructions, maps, photos, and training matter just as much as food and water. The smart move is to pack all of that onto a lightweight flash drive and confirm it works before you ever need it. This device is how you do that.Think of it like insurance you can test. Load your drive with IDs, deeds, manuals, medical info, instructional videos, reference photos, morale-boosting music, and a few familiar movies for long nights. Plug it in at home and verify every file opens cleanly.Setup is simple. HDMI for modern TVs, standard AV for older ones. Power it up, insert your media—USB-A flash drives, MicroSD cards, or USB-C portable drives, all the way up to massive capacities. Then sit back and navigate with a solid remote that doesn’t feel like a toy.Old TV, new TV—doesn’t matter. Cheap screen, borrowed screen, shelter screen—it just works.Once your digital survival kit is verified, the flash drive goes in your GoBag. Until then, this player can live at home doing regular duty. When the lights go out, you already know your data is good. You can take it with you if you have room for it in the truck. This review isn’t about entertainment—it’s about certainty. You’re confirming that the files you may depend on will open when stress is high and options are limited. Entertainment is just a bonus. After trying better-known brands and cheaper boxes, this is the best value I’ve found. Clean interface, dependable playback, excellent remote, all necessary cables included, and a price that makes sense. This is the tool you use right up until the moment you grab your bag and go—confident that the most important information you own is already packed and proven.Ver másVer menos

Virtually Worthless
I had high hopes for this device. I have a bunch of .mp4 videos I wanted to play on my TV and many digital photos in .jpg format I wanted to display on the TV.First, the instructions were terrible, but I've gotten used to that these days. I set it up with both an internal hard drive with loaded files as well as trying a plug in USB thumb drive. The videos were difficult to navigate to, but when there, some of them played fine, but others would play the audio only, but not the video. I just had a black screen with audio.I was never able to display an image. When selecting an image to view, the screen would go black and the device would lock up. It was totally unresponsive until I turned the device off and back on. Trying again, the same thing happened. I tried on both the images stored on the hard drive and the images stored on the thumb drive, so it was not an issue with the storage device. After trying everything and giving up, I am returning the device.Ver másVer menos

Cool! Easy to use and works great
This media player was easy to set up and works just like I wanted. It plays my videos, music, and photos without any trouble, and the auto play and resume features are really handy.I also like that it works with both modern TVs and older ones, so it gives a lot of flexibility. The storage support is a big plus, and the compact design makes it simple to keep in place. My love, the good one...Ver másVer menos

All my favorite movies now in one player
After some initial setup issues, I have really enjoyed this player. I had an 1TB video HDD from an old DVR, so it can take the abuse; a SSD would be ideal. After formatting the HDD a couple of different ways, I settled on the "removable" so you can connect to computer as an external drive and drag-n-drop files onto the drive. I made some folders for movies, photos, and music. I ripped a few DVDs and dropped them in the movie folder. Connect to the TV, and after it booted I got the menu. Despite the auto-play being turned off, if there is only one video (so maybe song too?) in a folder it begins playing it immediately. If there are at least 2, you can pick. Cool little remote. The default res is 4k, and I guess my TV reports supporting 4k, but I dumbed the player down to full 1920x1080 as that's the TV native res. No point of up-scaling a DVD video to 4k then back down to full HD; just upscale to full HD. I don't have any blue-ray movies to try but I'm sure they're super - the upscaled DVD videos looked really good. The player can play a variety of the hot formats - any codec that can be stored in an MP4 or MP5 video, MP3 audio. Needs the included 5V power supply to run the player, pretty sure the drive powered up when connected to computer via USB to upload files without the power supply. A USB-A port lets you connect another drive to access more storage, but I think one of the 'secure' formats you have to import videos from an external drive instead of connecting to a PC. I was really pleased for the price. It's compact, about the size of 3-1/2" in HDD. The internal bay for a 2-1/2" drive sold me, as I never got my perfect media server built.Ver másVer menos
