Excellent home security camera system!

For the past few years, we have had a video security camera system at our house. It used a dedicated NVR with an internal hard drive to record video and it was equipped with three wireless cameras. Each camera required a power adapter so there was some wiring at each installation point.We replaced that system recently with the Infiya security cameras with solar power. We were able to eliminate the NVR device in our system and were also able to remove the power adapters & wiring at each location since the new cameras are both wireless and solar powered.We set one up at the front door, another at the garage door and two at the rear of the house, giving us complete visibility of the property.We were able to add the cameras easily to our Wansview app since we already use that app for a pet camera that we have inside our home. I charged the cameras and followed the step by step instructions for adding each camera to the app.Installation was very simple. I mounted the cameras in the desired locations and then installed the solar panel nearby with a good view of the sun. Each camera works all night long, with excellent imagery and is fully charged by the sun within an hour after sunrise. It was easy to adjust the view of each camera so that it records the desired location.The cameras are set up to alert us upon detection of movement between 9pm and 7am each day. The sensitivity of the motion detection is perfect - we aren't getting false alerts yet we are informed of all activity on our property.The video and audio that these cameras provide to the app is amazing. Even during the hours of darkness, the images are colorful, sharp and clear.This is an amazingly easy to implement security camera system! The Wansview app does not required a subscription fee for use and the cameras have memory card slots to record on, if desired. The Wifi functions perfectly all around our home. The images are crisp and clear. The installation and set up is extremely easy, especially since the camera are solar powered.Ver más

Great camera with responsive support

At this price point, this camera rocks! I initially ordered a single camera to do some wi-fi and app testing. I was satisfied with my tests and ordered 4 additional cameras to put around my property. They've been running for about a week and so far, so good.Wi-fi: Previous wi-fi cameras I had were spotty, at best, in connecting or reconnecting to wi-fi, so the first one of these cameras I used to test all of the locations I wanted to use a camera. The app does report the wi-fi strength for each camera, so it’s easy to test the wi-fi with any positioning, and the strength exceeded my expectations. I have an eero 6+ mesh network and the camera setup was a breeze with it. The cameras are still occasionally unavailable in the most challenging locations, but always come back available and have captured everything I’m trying to capture on the SD cards I installed. I use the cameras on the 2k (rather than SD) resolution and I’m happy with the wi-fi connection and data transmission, even if there are occasional bobbles or buffering.Storage: I’ve installed 128gb SD cards in each camera. The app provides quick and easy formatting of the card. These cameras are installed in a busy urban setting, so record a LOT, and even at the highest 2k resolution, use less than 1gb per day – I expect to get at least 4 months of storage on the cards before it is overwritten with newer content. The company does provide a reasonable cloud storage plan, but it’s unlikely I’ll need to take advantage of that for my needs.Power: I've had battery-powered cameras before and find the charging maintenance to be cumbersome. These cameras include solar panels to keep the batteries topped up. I also use an exterior outlet for two of the cameras, and the included charging cables worked well for me there. From what I can tell from the battery consumption overnight on the cameras with solar power, these cameras would likely last a couple of weeks before needing charging. That's just a guestimate since all of my cameras have solar or outlet power. With the solar power and outlet power I’m using with the cameras, I expect to have no further battery issues, which allows me to capture more (higher motion sensitivity) without worry of running out of battery or space.Support: Before I even got the first test camera set up, I received an email from the INFIYA support folks asking how things were going. Once I did get it set up,I enabled a custom motion detection setting. I’m not sure if it was that setting, but whenever I closed the app on my phone, the camera would stop activating from motion and stop recording video to the SD card. I responded to that support email (support is also available through the phone app) and they replied with helpful suggestions. We had some back and forth over that and they helped to resolve it. I also asked for suggestions on how to get the cameras to have more angle than the supplied mounts would allow. They responded with great suggestions (alternate mounts) and I already had some from my previous cameras, so problem solved! Overall, I was very happy with their responsiveness and resolutions.Room for improvements: The app is very informative and is intuitive for me to use. The biggest issue I have with it is that the only exclusion zone is a privacy setting which completely blocks a single rectangle from any visual (live or recorded). I would love to be able to block areas from motion activation – one of my cameras points down the alley and across a street, and I don’t need to capture every car going by on the street. Even with that, I have plenty of storage for weeks of video captures on my 128gb SD card.Overall, I’m very happy with these cameras and am hopeful that these will be a long-term solution to help secure my property.

Excellent Wireless Security Cameras with Great Battery Life and Clear Video

I’ve been genuinely impressed with these INFIYA wireless outdoor cameras. Setup was straightforward, the solar charging works great, and I love not having to deal with running power cables around the house. The 2K picture quality is surprisingly sharp for the price, both during the day and at night.The AI human detection does a solid job reducing random alerts from trees or passing cars, and the instant notifications have been reliable. The color night vision is a really nice feature, especially around the driveway and front entrance. I also appreciate the built-in siren and two-way audio, which adds an extra layer of security.Battery life has been excellent with the included solar panels, and the app is easy to use. Having local SD card storage without mandatory subscription fees was a huge plus for me.For anyone looking for an affordable, easy-to-install wireless security camera system with great features, this is an excellent value.Ver más

Excellent Security Cameras – Easy Setup & Crystal Clear Video!

I’m impressed with these Wireless Outdoor Security Cameras. Installation was super easy since they’re completely wireless and powered by both solar and battery. I didn’t have to run any cables, and the solar panel keeps them charged without me worrying about constant recharging. The 2K video quality is very clear and sharp, and at night the color night vision works surprisingly well. The image doesn’t look washed out like some other cameras I’ve tried. The instant notifications come quickly to my phone, which makes me feel much more secure when I’m away from home. I also like that it supports SD card storage, so I don’t have to pay monthly subscription fees if I don’t want to. Setup with WiFi (2.4G) was simple, and connecting it to. Overall, these cameras offer excellent value for the price, reliable, high-quality, and packed with useful features. The only thing I didn’t like about these cameras is that you can’t move them that much (left, right, up, down) the camera, these cameras are more for a specific angle.Ver más

Quality Solar Cameras

Awesome 2K quality cameras that are solar powered. Works perfectly for 2 different angles of 2 entry points for my home. Cameras are easy to set up and came with all the hardware required to mount.Adding cameras to app were also easy. The only thing is you need a 2.4ghz wifi and cannot use the 5ghz.Quality cameras for a good price.Ver más

Strong, clear, easly setup Solar Cameras.

This 4 set of solar cameras perform very well. I was impressed with the range I was able to obtain with one at 70ft from my wifi Extender. This initial setup was flawless and simple. One camera had stopped (froze) a few times and needed to be rebooted to allow this to connect again. One minor issue is when using the Wewc Cloud web site, the camera's picture image on the left side is missing. Other cameras from same company show the small image. Be sure to do your own research.

This camera works as it should, however if you are looking to record to your own private cloud (Synology, VLV) or even Google or AWS S3 bucket, this camera is not for you. It has its own proprietary app with cloud features. It’s not bad and fairly inexpensive. With that being said it’s still frustrating. The basic license is for 3 devices so if you get a box of 4 like I did you have to purchase 2 plans.I would suggest shopping around but this camera being solar and recording is a good camera.Ver más

Great Cameras and Coverage

I’m really happy with these cameras. They were easy to set up and I like that they are truly wireless. The solar panel keeps them charged so I don’t have to mess with them after installing.The 4 pack is perfect because it pretty much covers all corners of the house. I was able to place one in each main area and feel like everything is covered.The video quality is very clear, even at night. The color night vision works well and looks better than the typical black and white. The alerts come through quickly and the AI human detection helps cut down on random notifications.The 2 way talk works fine and the sound is clear. I also like that you can use an SD card instead of paying for a subscription. They connected to Alexa without any issues.Overall, they feel like a good value and do exactly what I need them to do.Ver más
