It's working great and was priced right
This seems to be a good solid controller at a decent price. Once we got it set up properly (which could have been easier) it has been working with all our games very well. It's a very responsive controller (even somewhat touchy at times...which can be adjusted). We didn't have any trouble with connecting/pairing. That aspect was a breeze.All in all, this is probably the best controller we've had in it's price range (and it's better than a lot of controllers priced much higher). Excellent controller and very affordable!
The Nova Lite 2 is incredible, especially for the price. I bought it when it was $30, but it first caught my eye when it was on sale for $24.The ABXY buttons are the same type used on a regular Xbox controller. Higher-end GameSir controllers, like the G7 Pro, use micro switches instead.The joysticks are Hall Effect, so they should never develop stick drift. The orange glide rings at the base also help the sticks move smoothly.There are also short-throw trigger switches that make the triggers move only a short distance. I believe GameSir calls this feature "rapid trigger." I do not really play FPS games, but it does make Genshin a little more enjoyable.The D-pad uses micro switches, and this is a welcome change from the contact pad style used on Xbox controllers. I like it a lot.The Home + button modes are also a nice feature because they make it easy to switch between different devices. Home + A puts it into Bluetooth pairing mode for Android, Home + B is for Bluetooth pairing with Sony PlayStation compatibility, Home + X uses the included Wi-Fi adapter for PC, and Home + Y is for Nintendo Switch. One of the cooler features is Home + RB or LB for Android devices that do not support X-Input. This switches it to G-Touch mode, which requires the GameSir Android app and lets you map the Nova Lite 2 buttons and sticks to areas on the screen for touch controls.The Windows application is not too bad. It lets you customize the LED light for the Home button, toggle rapid trigger mode, remap buttons, change joystick curves, and update the firmware for both the controller and the Wi-Fi receiver. After a firmware update, you may have to re-pair the controller to the receiver, but the receiver does have a built-in pairing button.The extra buttons on the back take a little getting used to. There is no lockout switch to disable them, but you can leave them unmapped so they do nothing if pressed.There are only a few drawbacks, and for some people they may not be a big deal. First, the battery capacity feels small to me at only 600 mAh. GameSir claims 10 hours of use, but based on how much the charge meter drops in the Windows app during a 3-hour session of Genshin Impact, I think the battery life is probably closer to 6 hours. That is just my opinion, though, since I have not done a full battery test yet.That leads to my second drawback: there is no user-replaceable battery. With an Xbox controller, I can swap in rechargeable AA batteries or use larger aftermarket battery packs if needed.That said, GameSir does have a decent solution. They sell a charging dock for the Nova Lite 2 for $15. The dock has a USB passthrough, so you can plug the wireless adapter into the base. The controller turns off automatically when placed on the dock, then turns back on and reconnects to the last good connection mode when you pick it up again.Overall, I think this is a very good controller for the price. It has a few drawbacks, mainly the battery, but the features and feel make up for it for me.Ver másVer menos

Almost perfect for Super Monkey Ball
I got this controller for Super Monkey Ball and Super Monkey Ball only. Why? SMB notoriously requires a good controller to play well and I thought a hall effect stick would be great here. Well, it turns out it is, but with a couple caveats. First, there is no gating as is found in the GameCube controllers. This isn't an issue with the GameSir per se but it simply reflects the state of controllers today. Second, sensor type only affects the longevity of the sensors, not the springs or anything else like that. I can already feel a little looseness after playing SMB since several months ago. This isn't an issue if your game doesn't use the analog sticks much but is something to keep in mind. Third, sometimes, the wireless breaks all of a sudden and leaves you stranded, desperately trying to reconnect. This could be an interference issue but I can't say for sure. You can also mitigate this by simply using it wired. Finally, some reviewers say the D-pad feels cheap, but I think it feels just fine and in fact satisfying, like you're pressing the buttons on an arcade machine. Everything else is good. All the buttons feel solid and the plastic material feels durable. For input latency, wired is perceptually perfect, the dongle is either perfect to possibly slightly higher latency, and Bluetooth is worse.Conclusion? It's a steal for only $30!Ver másVer menos

Excellent Controller, but Battery Life Could Be Better
I've been really happy with the GameSir Nova Lite 2 overall. The controller feels great in the hands, the controls are responsive, and the Hall Effect sticks are a big plus. For the price, it feels like a much more expensive controller.My only real complaint is the battery life. I was getting around 4–5 hours of use per charge, which isn't terrible, but it's definitely shorter than I'd prefer for a wireless controller.That said, this ended up being an easy problem to solve. I replaced the stock battery with a 1000mAh battery, which cost me around $10, and that pushed the battery life to well over 8 hours in my usage. If you're comfortable opening up electronics, this is a pretty worthwhile upgrade and makes the battery life much more competitive.Other than the battery, I honestly don't have much negative to say about the controller. The Hall Effect sticks are smooth, the buttons feel good, wireless connectivity has been reliable, and the controller is comfortable for longer gaming sessions.I especially like that I don't have to worry as much about traditional stick drift thanks to the Hall Effect sensors. That's one of the main reasons I went with this controller in the first place.Overall, this is an excellent controller. The stock battery is my only real weakness with it, but even that can be improved fairly cheaply if you're willing to replace the battery yourself. After doing that upgrade, I have very little to complain about.For the price, I'd absolutely buy it again.Ver másVer menos

Only controller I’ll be buying from here on out.
The GameSir Nova Lite 2 has been a fantastic wireless controller, especially considering its price. It feels much more premium than I expected and has quickly become one of my favorite controllers to use.The compatibility is excellent. Pairing was quick and easy, and it worked seamlessly with multiple devices without any connection issues. Switching between platforms has been simple and reliable.The button responsiveness is outstanding. Every button press feels crisp and accurate, and the thumbsticks are smooth with no noticeable input delay. Whether I’m playing fast-paced shooters or casual games, the controller keeps up without missing a beat.I also like the level of adjustability. Being able to customize settings and tweak the controller to fit my preferences makes it even more enjoyable to use.The appearance is clean and modern. It has a sleek design that looks great without being overdone, and it feels comfortable during long gaming sessions.The overall quality is impressive. The controller feels solid in the hands, the materials don’t feel cheap, and everything has held up well after regular use.The lighting is a nice finishing touch. The RGB effects look great, add a bit of personality, and aren’t overly bright or distracting while playing.Overall, the GameSir Nova Lite 2 delivers excellent performance, great features, and impressive build quality for the price. Review after 8 months of regular use
8 months in. I saw few reviews that were after the buyer had time to use the controller. So I get a good 20 hours or so of PC gaming in per week. I've had this controller for 8 months now. It feels and functions exactly as it did when I first got it. Battery life is very decent. I can get at least 2-3 game sessions in that last 4 hours each before it needs to be plugged in. Obviously with the hall effect sensors there is no stick drift. The sensitivity of the buttons is great. It's just as functional as an Xbox contr6when it comes down to light button or partial trigger presses. It has a good feel in my hands and some weight but it's not heavy. It's weight feels like it's in a sweet spot. All around for the 30 dollars I paid I feel like I got a new $70 first party controller and this wou6be the only one I recommend for the budget price range. If you're looking at it and it meets your needs go for it you definitely will be happy. I'm fairly critical and I'm recommending it after 8 months of very regular use and that means some so yeah just go for it.Ver másVer menos

It's very good for the price
A solid controller, joysticks feel great and responsive, I've only used it on PC. It comes with a USB and durable case. The pc app compatible, you can change the color of the center button and adjust other settings and update but its battery life doesn't show in real but that's my only gripe so far.Ver másVer menos

A Haptic time with Bluetooth
The GameSir Nova 2 Lite is a surprisingly capable controller with a lot of value packed in for the price. I originally bought it as a replacement for my Microsoft Elite 2 due to bad stick drift, and I specifically wanted a controller with next‑gen haptic features so I wouldn’t have to deal with drift again. On that front, it absolutely delivers.This controller offers pro‑level features at a budget price. The customization options are excellent — you can adjust dead zones, polling rate, and other performance settings through an easy‑to‑use interface. In terms of responsiveness, accuracy, and overall feel, it holds its own against name‑brand controllers and performs right up there with the Elite 2.The one caveat — and the reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 — is the Bluetooth pairing process. Once you pair this controller to a device using Bluetooth or any of its wireless modes, unpairing it and pairing it to a new device is far more difficult than it should be. If you change or upgrade your device, you have to clear the previous pairing from the controller, and that process is not straightforward. In my case, I actually had to roll back a firmware update just to reset the Bluetooth connection because none of the commands or software options worked. Definitely a hassle.For Call of Duty Mobile players: this controller does connect as an Xbox Wireless Controller and works perfectly. Before I bought it, I couldn’t find a clear answer anywhere, so consider this your confirmation. You’re welcome.Overall, I highly recommend this controller if you don’t need to frequently switch it between devices. Pair it once and forget it, and you’ll get Elite‑level performance for a fraction of the cost. Despite the Bluetooth issue, it’s a strong performer with a ton of value.Ver másVer menos

It is even greater and cheaper than original controllers
After a month and a bit of using the controller the Y button stopped working but I still had the warranty and could prove it wasn't my fault so emailed their customer support and in less than 72 hours I had a new controller shipping to my house. 10/10 Customer service in that aspect, pretty quick and really nice. And about the controller it feels really smoothly, the joysticks are really good, also for the triggers and the 2 back buttons works more than well and feel really comfortably to push. It is a good controller overall, better than than originals others even like Xbox or PS5/4 in my opinion. If anyone's wondering about the input lag with the dongle on pc, it works more than fine and I haven't noticed any problem at all neither connection ones.Ver másVer menos

Good Controller.
Nice controller. Not quite as large as the microsoft official ones. The HE sticks and triggers more than make up for it. Customer support when buying through gamesir official is also highly commendable. Would buy again.

High quality controller priced out of this world
Premium controller, i love the high quality feel of it. Its joysticks glide smoothly and the caps have grips that feel nice on the thumb. The dpad and bumpers have very satisfying clicks to them which may be addicting. Compared to the face buttons which feel a bit mushy sadly, my main controller was the ps4 and the face buttons on it were easy to click, these just need a bit more force.The controller can trick steam into thinking its a controller for Xbox, ps, or switch which im sure is how you can use it on those consoles. The nova 2 lite also has 2 paddles at the back which you can map out using the controller only. But it also has an app on pc and Android which is handy to change specifics such has modifying the led, rumble which I usually turn down to make the battery last longer. Unfortunately the controller does not tell its battery life, the led might blink when it gets low but I will need to wait on that, it shows the battery life in the app.Through the app you can also remap every single button aside from the logo, sadly steam does not recognize the paddles at the back as extra buttons identified through the app as L4 and R4 so you need to map them as existing ones.You can connect the controller in 3 different ways which is amazing, through Bluetooth, the USB dongle or wired. The controller also comes with its own case molded as the controller so you can put it away and it won't gather dust. (I ordered the white one and when I opened the box to see a black controller I was a bit saddened until I noticed that it was the case)With all of the minor flaws I mentioned, this controller is well worth the money for it being 35 bucks, I would have still payed double knowing how good it was which is the same price as a ps5 controller which I was deciding on getting at first. この値段でこんなにしっかりしたコントローラーが手に入るとは。特にセールで3000円台は破格。無線接続の不安定さも遅延もないしボタン、スティックの使い心地も良好。電池持ちも十分。トリガーストップや背面ボタンのおかげでアクションでもレースゲーでも万能に使えてます。最近格ゲーを始めましたが、8方向にクリック感のある十字キーのおかげでこれまた快適。switchでもジャイロ不要なゲームなら問題なし。ただPCと併用する人は接続の切り替えだけちょっと面倒かも。もちろんハイエンドに敵わない点はあるのでしょうが、自分のようにあまりこだわりなくとにかくPCで使える無線コントローラーが欲しい、高性能は必要ないけど1台でいろんなゲームをやりたいという人であればまったく不満なく使っていけると思います。いい意味で「これでいい」というコスパ製品です。最後に、使用には問題ないけど微妙な問題点も挙げておきます。一つは充電残量の不具合。たまに満充電から1,2時間使っただけで赤いライトで充電切れ警告が出ることがあります。管理ソフトで見ても電池が切れかけに見えるんですが、実際はその後も3時間とか平気で使えます。でもこうなると本当の電池切れがいつか分からなくなるのでちょっと不便。もうひとつ、充電が終わってUSBを抜くとコントローラーの電源が勝手に入ります。スマホアプリにだけその機能をオフにする設定があるんですが、オフにしてもやっぱり電源が付きます。地味にストレスなのでファームウェアアップデートでいつか治るといいな…。Ver másVer menos
