🍰 Like a lemon loaf from the bakery 🍋
Premier Protein has proven again and again that they have the best flavor and flavor variety when it comes to protein drinks. I was never a “protein drink” person until I tried Premier. Now when I saw that this new flavor came out, I immediately bought it because I love new flavors! It’s exciting! The quality of these is awesome — they’re smooth, creamy like a milkshake without being freezing cold, and have 30g of protein per bottle. I’m a nursing mom and constantly in need of more protein and don’t always have the time or energy to cook up a whole meal, so these are extremely convenient. For $25-30 for a pack of 24, Premier is always a great value too.Now speaking on this flavor in particular, it tastes just like a lemon bar, or lemon cake slice you’d get at Starbucks. It’s just like the taste of an iced lemon bar from the bakery, only better it isn’t dry lol. The ONLY downside to every Premier bottle I’ve opened (not just this flavor, ALL of them) is the weird slimy film that circles the inner lining of the very top of the inside of the bottle. It’s almost like the curdled milk slime you get when you heat up milk too high and it just gets thick and weird. But it isn’t a huge problem for me at least because I just clean that off with a paper towel and that’s the only part that is weird to me. It isn’t throughout the whole drink, just the very top, and it isn’t a lot either. It’s just kind of gross. So if that weirds you out, I’d try the drink but remember to check the inner rim and kinda scrape it out. Everything else is fine and I’m willing to look past that because I’ve never had such a tasty way to consume a protein beverage before. A lot of the powders or shakes I’ve had have weird aftertastes or don’t taste quite like what they’re supposed to - Premier always delivers though. Their chocolate peanut butter tastes like a Reese’s cup. Their cinnamon roll tastes like a Cinnabon. Strawberries and cream - just like a subtle strawberry in whipped cream. Cookies and cream tastes just like my favorite flavor of ice cream. They’re all delicious and I love the variety. ❤️ Try the lemon bar flavor as it is limited edition and is awesome for those of us who enjoy bakery pastries but also need a little extra protein throughout the day.Ver másVer menos
