Better than TV Bluetooth
Works much better than the blue tooth of the TV. Much more reliable connection

Game changer for us
I have to say, this little device has been a miracle for both myself and my husband who uses the phonak bicross Bluetooth hearing aides. I have a Samsung tv and a Bose sound bar. I had some trial and error’s with a few resets to get this hooked up and working, but I wasn’t going to give up and it has been worth every frustrating moment I had in setup. My husband used to need the tv very loud even with his hearing aids and I am lucky enough not to have hearing problems. We can now keep the sound bar at a comfortable level for me, while he can turn up the volume on his hearing aides via the app to a level he can hear and enjoy the tv. It’s a win win for us. If you considering this device give it a shot, you have nothing to lose and maybe it will be a life changer for you like it was for us.Ver másVer menos

Great when it works, but sadly that's rare.
#1. The 110v to USB adapter was defective. I tossed it and used a spare I had on hand.#2. When the TV Connector actually connects, it is wonderful. I have used it for about a week and have been continually disappointed with its ability to connect to my hearing aids as it should. It only connects in about 1 of 5 tries. Initial pairing was very quick and easy.It is subsequent connections that fail 80% of the time.Sometimes, it sits and cycles through blinking green cycles over and over until I remove power. The routine is like this:- blink the green light rapidly while trying to establish connection, usually 4-5 seconds- intermittently the green light becomes solid, the hearing aids make the chime that signals a state change, and audio streams ... for about 1 second- audio streaming stops and the device goes back to blinking the green light again- rinse, wash, repeatIt did that for 30 minutes just a short while ago. Unplugging power and plugging it back in sometimes causes a quick connection, sometimes being about 1 in 5 ... and that's for hearing aids it has already paired with. It should know my Phonak Audeo Paradise P90s very well by now and connect instantly. My other devices (computer, phone, automobile) connect almost instantly. Why can't this TV Connector?#3. The buttons have no tactile feedback are nearly useless. Although I can sometimes get a button to work, when the device is in the continuous blinking green connection loop, the power button never works. The only way to shut it off is pull the plug.I really want the device to behave, because when it connects it is fantastic. Maybe this one unit is defective? I don't know, but I didn't purchase enough patience to keep messing with it.Ver másVer menos

Why I returned
I love my phonac connector,this one was to replace mine but I got it to work that’s why I returned it.I can’t be without one now!

What a rip off
Very disappointed, device continues to lose connection making it very difficult to follow communication. My 30 dollar tv headphones work 100% better than these $195.00 Phonak TV Connectors. I am maybe 6 feet between Phonak Connectors and my hearing aids. Would not recommend this product to anyone, maybe another simular product vender might work.Ver másVer menos
