Great device
I am extremely satisfied with the R69 Plus streaming device (packaged with the included remote control). The unit operates great and is highly responsive, providing a seamless entertainment experience. I appreciate that it features *4 GB of RAM*, which enables smooth multitasking and fast app launches. The internal storage is slightly larger than the NVIDIA Shield, giving me extra room for apps and media without needing external expansions.All pre‑installed and third‑party apps run smoothly, with no lag or buffering issues observed during streaming or navigation. Great for personal Media libraries.
Works great with Emby. Box is quick and snappy. Loads fast and is easy to navigate. Remote is way better than most Android boxes.

Doesnt support several movie streeming app🫤
Doesn't support several movie apps, very disappointing.I didn't like the format, so I gave it 3 stars.

Good performance - Limited Steaming Compatibility
I wanted to love this little Android TV box. Out of the package there are minimal apps installed, no bloatware or ads flying across the screen.The included remote and menu is responsive. and the Google Play Store is ready to go as soon as you sign in.It connected to my 5ghz wifi without a problem and maintained connectivity. I was able to turn on dev mode and remote ADB to install apps that aren't available in the play store.Youtube streaming worked great, Moonlight and Steam Link were both responsive and lag free for playing games.Now the downside, this is not a Google certified device. This means its missing Widevine L1 DRM support and limited to l3.This means some apps like Netflix will not work and won't even show in the play store for download. I was able to side load the Android TV netflix ninja apk, but it fails as widevine L1 isn't available. I assume the same will be the case for Disney.Pushing the com.netflix.mediaclient mobile specific version did work as mobile devices can be all over the place and not everyone has a big brand phone. The restriction here is a bad UI and only 480p/SD playback which isn't going to be pretty on your HD/4K tv.For Prime Video I was able to get intermittent playback, though the app randomly complained about needing a different HDMI cable (for drm communication) and audio wouldn't work on most shows as it couldn't handle the 5.1/dolby audio channels.Overall this is a great media box if you want it for gaming, personal media streaming through plex/jellyfin/similar, or general Android TV purposes.It is not the ideal box if you are wanting to utilize the common legit streaming services. I wish this was clear in the description page so people aren't confused, and left with a device they will ultimately return or throw into a box never to be used again.Ver másVer menos

The UI is hot garbage and completely locked down. 90% of the screen is taken up by ads. Only apps from the approved first party apps can be added to the home screen and the most of the apps that are loaded are broken. The device is not officially supported by the google app store for Netflix or Patreon. They can be sideloaded, but can not be added to the home screen. The launcher is locked down so it can't be replaced, so you're stuck with this garbage. If you could just be aloud to replace the stock "dragon launcher" with something simple like Flauncher it would be great. You can install other launchers, but the stock overrides them. If anyone knows a simple method for flashing this things rom, PLEASE post it in a reply. If I wanted ads on a product I paid for, I would have just bought a fire stick.Ver másVer menos

R69 Plus is finally a box that works. I just want to watch TV occasionally.
I had a Android Google tv box and it was HELL. Goggle disabled apps. I had to have a launcher because Google would not show some of the apps. I would have to reboot several times before the apps Google didn't like would appear.This Android box fixed all that. Google Playstore was on there but once I disabled it everything works perfect. Several apps like Bee TV and EarthCam are back and working. Loads fast and no glitches and harassment.Not sure what Google was shooting for but it's an Android box like R69 Plus for me from now on.Ver másVer menos
