I’m running it as a fully independent router here in NE Phoenix, with its own WAN connection and its own subnet, completely separate from my RS700. This gives me two isolated networks — one for the house and one for our Casita rental — and both routers have been rock‑solid. I’ve used Netgear routers and switches for years with almost no downtime, and everything integrates well. I’m also adding Armor to both routers for extra protection. Very reliable setup.Netgear should update the RS‑series wall mount. These routers need more rear clearance for best Wi‑Fi performance. The included mount places the router too close to the wall, reducing range and speed. Great router, but the mount holds it back.I also added two NetGear1‑Gb switches to remove the old 100‑Mb bottlenecks in my network. This instantly improved Wi‑Fi speeds on the RS300 and RS700, especially at longer distances.Ver másVer menos
