Cheap? Yes. Underwhelming? Also yes. Great value for the money? Absolutely!
I had very low expectations for these, and they are honestly much better than I thought they would be.For $23 I knew I wasn't buying a pair of Sennheiser headphones, but I just needed something over-the-ear with noise-cancelling that would last at least 8 hours. I didn't even need them to sound amazing... and these surely do not, It just had to be okay-ish enough to be intelligible and drown out the sounds of mail insertion equipment and wearable for 8 hours; they do that sufficiently enough.Operation couldn't be any simpler; there are no apps or confusing button combinations, just 5 tactile buttons that are easy to distinguish from one another, you get Power(long press to pair), ANC, Vol. Dn(long press for REW.), Play/Pause, and Vol. Up(long press for FF). Mine paired right up to my iPhone and iPad, no problemo.These are quite comfortable, with a squishy silicone bit for the crown of your head, and soft, cushy surrounds for the earpieces. The build quality is quite nice for such an inexpensive product, and the only instance of a logo is on the underside of the adjustable headband.As far as the sound is concerned, they are not great. Highs are not super crisp, mids are mushy, and the low end trails off at a pretty high frequency... but I return to the fact that they were $23 and that if I wanted better sound, I could have not been so cheap. I have not managed to get them to overdrive or distort yet, so they have that going for them. The ANC offers cancellation and pass-through(transparency) modes, they both function as intended. The noise-cancellation isn't going to win any awards for performance, but it works well enough. The transparency mode is ok, but the lack of an app for control means that there is no adjustment of the sound mix and the ambient noise is a little louder than I like it to be, but I rarely use the mode at work so I honestly don't care.Overall, I am quite pleased with these uber-cheap headphones. They do exactly what I needed and a very affordable price, and If I trash them I don't have to break the bank to buy another pair.Ver másVer menos
