  Great support and still flexible!

  I picked up this set for my daughter who has loose knee caps and needs some extra support and stability. We have tried MANY braces in the past, ranging from super slim with light support to very large, with super heavy support.I would consider these slim-medium in thickness. They aren't overly thick, so they still give the leg/knee a full range of motion. The material is very compressive, so it provides pretty excellent support and stability. Even with the medium high to high compression, this is still a very comfortable brace to wear, as it doesn't cut off blood flow at the leg (as long as it is sized correct). The material feels soft against the skin, not rough and scratchy and it's suprisingly breathable too. This set of braces does NOT make you all sweaty.We ordered a Medium according to the size chart and it fits perfect. Not too tight but still will accommodate any swelling. The length of the brace is also noteworthy. There's a nice length both above and below the knee, which is nice as it gives some extra security, but it doesn't roll. She gets these on and off without any issue or struggle.We love the bright pink color. It's super fun and to my suprise it doesn't show dirt that easy.Overall, we are quite happy with this set. They feel and work great, which is all I could really ask for. She actually likes wearing this set too, so I don't have to remind her constantly to wear them/bring them to practice. Plus, the price is very reasonable considering the quality and materials. I'll definitely order these again!Ver másVer menos

  These feel great and provide support, but it is basically a tube

  Overall these braces are wonderful. There are slight variations in the texture of the fabric where the colors are different, but I don't really feel any difference in the elasticity. That's perfectly fine though. They are stretchy and flexible enough to fit snugly everywhere, it just kind of appeared that they would be more form fitted. I've had rheumatoid arthritis for about 25 years, and it mostly affects my knees. I've worn some braces daily for many years and the ones that I found most comfortable basically feel the same as these do. The difference is that my old ones had two velcro patches which eventually wore out so I stopped using them. My old braces also had a circle of thinner material on the knee cap to avoid too much pressure. These don't have a thin patch over the knee cap, but I don't feel any discomfort whatsoever. The only downside of these is that they're a little more difficult to put on, but that's nothing compared to the inconvenience of occasionally having them come loose underneath my pants LOL. I can wear these with more confidence for sure. There are strips of rubber along the upper seam which should prevent them from slipping, that's a nice touch. My thighs have some atrophy anyway since my knee joints are so weak, so the brace sliding down isn't too much of an issue with me, but it's a nice touch for some added security. They are very comfortable and I appreciate the opportunity to try them out, thanks.Ver másVer menos

  More of a compression sleeve than a brace

  I've had two significant knee reconstructive surgeries in the past 8 months, one in October 2023 and another in February 2024. And yes, it's as bad as it sounds, but I'm glad I got both done.While I'm still wearing medical braces in the recovery process, I like to have an extra brace/pad on underneath as it helps the official medical brace to grip better and not slide. It's also nice to have that extra protection.I was previously wearing a Modvel sleeve that had two pieces of metal strips on either side, which added a significant amount of support to my knee. These are not that same brace.These are a simple compression sleeve that does help and support knee movement, but I would certainly not call it a brace. If you're looking for something that gives you a small amount of support and would provide a minimal amount of padding in the event of a fall or trip, this is what you want.If you need something that provides the knee with more stability, I would go look at one of their other products. I rated this at 3 stars because of how it was marketed and not because of it's overall quality.It is comfortable and slides on easily. It also grips well, so once it's on, you don't have to continue to pull it up. Just be aware of what you're getting.Ver másVer menos
