Great quality, especially for the price.
PROS - It comes with 2 batteries, and a metal ruler (nice bonus). The black / orange contrast is very easy to read. It appears to be 100% accurate. The sliding is very smooth and tight. It's almost perfect.CONS - The battery compartment requires a screw, rather than the typical slide snap. On the up side it also came with a small screwdriver, it just seems unnecessary. That said, the battery should last a few years, so not a huge deal.This could be a deal breaker depending what you are planning to use this for. The back of the jaws is recessed, so you are supposed to be measuring with the outer 3/4 of the jaws. Still, if you have something thin and flat you might want to push it to the back of the jaws against the bar to get a perfect 90 for your measurement. The problem is that the housing for the electronics overlaps this by a tiny amount, so you are hitting the plastic housing instead of the metal. If you don't understand what I'm talking about then 99% chance this won't affect you. But I do consider this a design flaw. It just won't bother me for anything I'm doing. If it ever does I'll take my drimel and shave off those few thousands of an inch of plastic which is hanging over.Ver másVer menos
