Really love these little lamps!
I admit, when we discovered these new types of portable, rechargeable LED lamps, we immediately fell in love with them. They are attractively styled and made from real metal and other materials that make them feel like a small, high-quality lamp should. No compromises.What makes them even more useful and fun is they are completely rechargeable and therefore portable and able to be grabbed and carried to any place you may need them to perform for you. Need romantic light for the dinner table? Check. Need a cozy light on the bar or outdoor picnic table? Check. Need a soft, soothing light for taking a relaxing bath? Check. These little lamps are so incredibly versatile they've literally got you covered in any situation you can think of.While some styles have shades that are made of plastic (making them more practical for outdoor use), this one has a very nice fabric shade for use in more formal spaces such as studies, libraries, and living rooms.The functionality is very versatile, as well. These lights have a simple touch-control button that gives you the ability to change to one of 3 color settings (cool, neutral, warm) along with an infinite range from full-on down to dim. The dim setting is similar to a candle-light. The full-on setting is easily enough to brighten a corner of a room or read by as long as you stay pretty close to the light. Great for reading at a table or even for sitting the lamp beside you on a sofa or chair arm.This light charges fairly quickly with a USB-C cable and has red/green indicator lights to indicate state of charge when charging. The light is usable while charging but we honestly don't know if this is advisable or not over the long-haul. Not completely certain how to report on the day-to-day battery life but, for us, we use them most days of the week and charge them once or twice a week, on average. There have been times when we forgot to turn them off when we went to bed and they were still shining brightly in the morning.As previously stated, we love these little lamps and the functionality and versatility they uniquely offer. This is a brand new phase of lighting technology that batteries and LED's have opened and it's a lot of fun to have these around. If you're a person who enjoys being able to have total control of all aspects of your lighting options and fine-tune the mood to your liking, these little lamps are just what you need. Get some. Not blinding, nice shade.
This SOL Home and Garden portable lamp is nicer than I expected. The warm light option is acceptable. The specifications list 3000K. I wish the color temperature was lower and CRI was higher. I dislike the cool bluish-white option. This lamp is relatively dim. It is more like a candlestick than a table lamp. The LED operation with this lamp is the same as many others. Touch control. Stepless dimming. Light output options of: warm-white LEDs, cool-white LEDs, or both warm + cool LEDs. Each tap changes the color temperature. Powering-off requires cycling though the remaining settings. Unfortunately this lamp does not remember the previous color setting each time it restarts. It does remember the previous brightness settings. The switching system annoys me a little. The top of the lamp is mostly opaque. Light does not shine up into my eyes. The USB charging port is conveniently located on the base. The lamp is packaged neatly and fully assembled. That is a bonus. It could be wrapped and presented as a gift. I ordered this lamp to use on my patio table during evening meals. The translucent shade provides a pleasant atmosphere. Yet, most of the light output is directed downward. The LEDs face downward. This lamp is not suited for exposure to the elements outdoors. I'll carry it back indoors after each use.Ver másVer menos

Gives you the look of a 1920's 5-Star Hotel or Paris Bistro!
For those who love vintage style ... this is almost perfect! If you are more of a modern style person, you may feel that this is too old-timey for you and there are likely better options available. I wanted to recreate the look of a vintage 5-star Paris hotel, or Orient Express style train car in my home bar ... and this is exactly what I had hoped it would be.At first, I worried the stem might be too thick, but in person that makes it look even better due to the shiny brass metal and the pleated cloth shade. The only thing I don't like about this is that the entire style is vintage except a clear plastic button and a black charging outlet on the base of the unit. This takes away a bit from the vintage look. I'd have much rather they made the top a touch-sensitive metal, like many of these lamps, eliminating the need for a gaudy button.Beyond that, this works well and lasts for 5+ hours when illuminated. It takes about 1 - 1.5 hours to fully charge, so it will last through a couple dinners. There is no power indicator to show how much time you have before needing to recharge. There are 3 settings, a dim incandescent yellowish-orange glow ... a bright white fluorescent style light ... and an in between yellowish-white light. I feel the best and most realistic is the first setting.The brightness is okay ... it is more for romantic ambiance than for actual illumination. You wouldn't be able to read using this by your bedside. However, it is a great way to give yourself a little extra light at dinner if you are doing a romantic dimly-lit dinner. On a home bar, it sets the mood as being classy and relaxing. Just be careful not to spill anything on the cloth shade as this is not replaceable.Overall, I couldn't be happier about this. If you want a little Buckingham Palace or Downton Abbey vibe in your home, this is perfect. I really love the way it makes my bar look and will order another so I have one at each end. Nice little table lamp
This turned out to be a decent little table lamp.We have a small table in our hallway and I wanted a light to place on it for ambient lighting. We don't have any outlets in the hallway so cordless was the only option for me. When I saw this lamp available I thought it might work well for our needs, and so far it has.The lamp is relatively light, and has a nice polished finish with an offwhite lampshade. The lamp has three different color temperatures and stepless dimming. My only complaint is the light doesn't have memory when you set the brightness. Each time I turn it back on it's on the brightest setting and I have to dim it to where I want it. I wish it had a memory like similar lamps in this price range.Overall I'm happy with it and it works well for our needs. We turn it on in the evening for a little ambient light without the need to turn on the bright ceiling light. I've had it on almost every night the last few evenings for a couple/few hours at a time and haven't had to recharge it yet. This would also be good for a dining table if you want soft ambient lighting for a romantic dinner, or just as a lamp on a nightstand, as long as you don't read in bed. Great rechargeable mini lamp!
I love these lamps. I have been collecting them to deal with all the power outages we experience in this wooded area (storms in winter, fire danger in summer, squirrels and falling branches all the other months contribute to regular power outages).This style is sleek, tall enough to do small tasks under its light, ambient light in power outages, and a quick tap turns it on. I do have other models, and I do prefer the taller sleeker style (I have reviewed others) but I also want a mix of styles to have about the house, and enjoy this little lamp immensely for that variety. It seems to provide the same quality light as other models I own.It is so much easier to stroll through the house tapping these type of lights in bathrooms and living spaces when the power goes out, than scrambling to find matches and where-did-those-candles-go --Highly recommended. Looks trendy, CHARGES IN A WINDOWSILL!!! and it has nice appearance aside from great function.Ver másVer menos
