Absolutely Beautiful
I wanted an end table lamp that was subtle in appearance and wouldn't become the focal point in the living room, but rather compliment other artwork. After hours of searching. I settled on this lamp and couldn't be more pleased.Positives:1. The shade is quite heavy for its size and yes, it is real glass. The pieces are well fitted and secure.2. The metal base securely holds the shade without any risk of tipping over.3. The bottom of the base has a soft cover to prevent scratching. The base itself is concave so don't push in on the material lest you tear it lose4. The cord is sufficiently long and the location of the inline switch is easy to reach.5. The lamp is fitted for an E-26 bulb which is included. I'm going to experiment to see what different effects I can get using a Kasa smart bulb. I control this lamp using Alexa.5. Packaging is designed to protect the lamp during shipment. Mine made it from Baltimore to Las Vegas without even a dent in the box.6. They include a cloth to wipe off the thin coating of mineral oil the exterior of the shade is coated with. This coating is very light and it took about 5 minutes to wipe the lamp completely dry. I suppose you could wash the shade with soapy water to achieve the same effect, but that would take even longer.7. Yes, these lamps are generally a bit more expensive than their competitors, but the workmanship and overall quality are well worth it. Definitely recommend.Negatives: Absolutely none.Helpful Comment: They give you 2 retaining rings to secure the shade to the base. It took me a minute to figure this out. Invert the base, place the shade in position, screw one of the retaining rings onto the socket flat side against the lamp (don't over tighten), screw the second retaining ring on so the flat side is facing you, insert bulb. In reality, you could just use 1 retaining ring if you wanted to and it will hold the shade securely in place.Ver másVer menos

Looks expensive
These are so beautiful I have been wanting this light for a long time I ordered the floor lamp and the small lamp these things are gorgeous they look so expensive extremely easy to put together and packed very well in the box I was worried about them but they are perfect I didn't realize how beautiful they were till I got them.Ver másVer menos

Beautiful lamp
I put in on our bathroom vanity in front of two walls of mirrors. When you walk into the room, it looks like there are four lamps. I put a 7W bulb in it, and leave it on 24 hours a day. It looks beautiful and it also serves as a nightlight.
