Faster than previous Unifi AP and integrates with Unifi OS well
More bandwidth than the AP-Pro I had been using. Speed has been good and other AP's are happy with this as a Mesh Parent AP. Unifi OS is great when it works, and can be a pain for some re-configurations. There always seems to be a different way to integrate new hardware that I don't perform the first time through. Unit did integrate, and has been performing well for a few weeks.Ver másVer menos

Probably the best out there.
Been using these access points for a couple months now and they are working flawlessly. I got these to replace some early generation UniFi Access points that would no longer update. I ended up getting the Ubiquiti Switch and Gateway as part of upgrade. With all the parts together, it is a pretty sweet setup.The light on the device is set to a nice level and is not obnoxious at night in a dark hallway. It is a little bigger than a standard smoke detector, though not as tall. Looks is pretty nice. They are not the cheapest access points but they seem to be the best.Ver másVer menos

Very well made & solid WAP
Easily the fastest and well made WAP I've ever used.Quick install, very sturdy construction, extremely fast WiFi.

Not for beginners. Quality WAP
Worked exactly as expected. New in box. Powered up and adopted with my dream machine pro. Couldn’t have been an easier setup. I am a networking professional though so that might influence my judgement. You do need to understand a little bit of what you’re doing. Don’t order this if you’re not familiar with networking concepts. You don’t need to know iOS commands but you do need to setup a network using a gui.Ver másVer menos

A Must have
If you have a home network setup like I do, then this access point is a must. Product works well with my setup and it was easy to setup. Connectivity reaches very far, from the inside of my house to the mailbox where i have a solar powered camera and it still reaches to give it wifi signal. The speed is good as well up to a gig so I definitely recommend.Ver másVer menos

Good Access Point, but Best If You’re Already in the UniFi System
I’ve been using the Ubiquiti U6+ access point and overall it has worked well. The Wi-Fi coverage is solid, and the connection has been stable so far. It’s a nice upgrade if you’re moving from an older access point or trying to improve Wi-Fi in a home or small business setup.Setup was not too bad, especially if you already use UniFi equipment. Once adopted into the controller, it was easy to manage and adjust settings. I like being able to see connected devices, signal strength, and make changes from the UniFi interface.The size is reasonable, and it looks clean mounted on the ceiling or wall. Since it uses PoE, the installation can look very neat with just one network cable going to it.A couple things to keep in mind: this is probably not the best choice if you want something completely plug-and-play like a basic home router. You’ll get the most out of it if you already understand UniFi or are willing to learn the controller setup. Also, it only has a 1GbE port, so even though it supports Wi-Fi 6, your wired uplink is still limited to gigabit.Overall, I’d give it 4 stars. It’s a good access point, works reliably, and fits nicely into a UniFi network, but it may be more than the average person needs if they just want simple Wi-Fi with no setup involved.Ver másVer menos
