Definitely Spicy! 🌶
I got curious enough during Spicy Noodle Challenge times to order this 5-pack. It's a better deal per unit than ordering just one, but I was hesitant because, you know, if it wound up being inedibly hot, I didn't want to be stuck with 4 packets of unwanted ramen. Eventually, my love of ramen and my sense of adventure took over and I hit the order button.I would rate my spice tolerance as higher than average, so I wasn't sure what to expect. When it comes to the Spicy Noodle Challenge, there are a whole lot of highly dramatic videos and reviews, and then there are some spice-acclimated people going, 'yeah, it's spicy, but whatevs'. So, I was a little afraid in case it *was* actually nuclear spice levels, but I also suspected that I would be in the latter category.I made the ramen and the aroma was deceptively mellow, so I was a bit surprised at the heat at the first bite. Definitely very spicy. "Oh no," I thought, "If this is the first bite, it's gonna get so bad."But then, interestingly, the heat kind of mellowed out from there. It didn't build and accumulate as I continued to eat, it just stayed about the same level as the initial heat. My mouth was burning, for sure, but I was able to finish it without any struggle. It's definitely spicy and I can definitely see people with lower spice tolerances finding it a challenge! I had the foresight to put lip balm on, so my lips weren't burning that bad.. my sinuses cleared, causing my nose to run, and I had some residual burning in my mouth for maybe 20 minutes afterward. A bit later, a mild capsaicin high kicked in, which was nice.The noodles are stellar and are probably the best I’ve found in instant ramen. They have the best texture, very pleasantly chewy and firm. Flavor-wise, to be honest, it's almost all heat/spice, which overwhelms the other flavors. Every now and then, the chicken/seaweed/sesame flavor comes through, and it's good, but it's like one bite out of four. The rest, it's just a lot of spiciness that overwhelms the palate.However, I liked them so much that I not only finished a 5-pack, I ordered another! :DVer másVer menos

Far better quality than American style ramen
These noodles are a great twist on a ramen style dish, it's high quality, tastes great, and contains several small flourishes such as vegetables in the mix and sprinkles to put on top a a garnish. Using the full spice packet results in a fairly spicy dish that can feel like an accomplishment to finish, using less may be done for a less hot meal.Ver másVer menos

These are my favorite ramen noodles. However, i wish they were a little cheaper! ha-ha but they have such good flavor to them and tons of spice! I LOVE spicy food, so they aren't too bad for me. I love how they also sell the sauce in a bottle too so sometimes i add extra sauce to it! I highly recommend these ramen noodles to anyone who loves spicy food. I can't get enough of these! I go through a bag every 2 weeks! ha-haVer másVer menos

Great spicey noods!
It has a great spice level. Either put all and, or less of the spice in. Depending on your tolerance level. Also if the spice bothers you. Yet you want to still try it? Put it in the fridge for an hour or so. It tastes just as good cold! It hampers the heat down just a bit more.Enjoy one of the best noodles!Ver másVer menos

Great tase. Keep coming back
These are actually super hot. Which I freaking love some might even call it spicy which isn't really hot in my opinion it's just a weaker variation. Either way I've had these before I always end up coming back and buying a ton of them. Really easy to make and you can cook an egg like standard egg and put an egg on top Completely cooked sunny side up which is normally a standard dish .. also can also mix it up by putting meat inside of it that has either been standard cooked like slices or the Chinese kind where you made a sweet stir fry but without the vegetables or non flavred and let the Packaged ingredients mixing with the meat. This is an easy way to buff the meal as well as level the heat you still sense it and eat it but it mixes with the meat also.A good value for the money. They've already released a ton of different varieties so they lowered the prices of these. The only thing I would say is that it's very easy to stain your finger or stain your shirt so you have to be careful when you open it I would suggest getting a scissor and cutting the package because most of the time the package just doesn't open with your fingers, even though there's a line that tells you open here it doesn't.If you stain your fingers it's no big deal a little bit of liquid so it's out of there but the last thing you want is the thing on your shirt. Just be careful especially if you're cleaning the Wok Because the water can splash carrying the ingredients I don't have a problem with the noodles. I genuinely only leave mine for like a minute with boiling water and stir. I like to have mine with a little bit of firmness, which from my understanding is the actual way to cook it not let it get soft help some people eat spaghetti.Ver másVer menos
