“Best Compact Sonos Yet - Big Upgrade in Sound and Seamless Integration
The Era 100 is exactly why I keep coming back to Sonos. At this point I have 20+ Sonos products throughout my home, and every time they release something new, I wonder if it’ll actually move the needle. This one absolutely does.The sound quality is a noticeable step up from previous models in this size. The stereo separation is wider, the bass is fuller without being muddy, and vocals come through incredibly clean. It easily fills a room, and pairing two of them takes things to another level.Setup, as always with Sonos, is seamless. It integrated into my existing system in minutes, and Trueplay tuning helped dial everything in perfectly for the space. I also appreciate the updated controls- more intuitive and responsive than older models.One of the biggest advantages of Sonos is how everything just works together, and the Era 100 fits right into that ecosystem. Whether I’m grouping rooms, streaming music, or switching between TV audio and playlists, it’s effortless.If you’re already in the Sonos ecosystem, this is a no-brainer upgrade. A great small speaker to give you high-quality audio in a smaller room
If you're looking to add wireless speakers, etc. to your TV or other entertainment devices, Sonos is the way to go. Sonos is quite expensive, but you're buying not only high-quality audio devices but also the flexibility of being wireless for sound and the interconnectedness of all the Sonos devices. The Sonos app recognizes all of your various devices and makes it easy for them to work together. You can assign devices to specific rooms or, if you want, set up a home audio network where music is played everywhere. The Sonos app also integrates access to Apple Music, Amazon Music, or just the Sonos music that they offer.For a home theater, starting with a Sonos soundbar opens the door for adding other Sonos speakers and a Sonos subwoofer. The sound bar, while using the Sonos application on your smartphone, will recognize other speakers and a subwoofer in the room. You also can configure the speakers to work separately, or they can be part of a surround sound system tied to the Sonos sound bar.The nice thing about each of the system audio components is that individually, you can touch the component (a speaker or soundbar for example) and control the room sound level, so you don't always have to go to the Sonos app on your smartphone to do so.You can get great sound for your entertainment system without requiring a receiver and complicated wiring. Sonos is the best!
I am obsessed with Sonos and love the new era 100 speaker. It’s more affordable and has great sound alone and when paired for surround sound. Would for sure recommend!!!

Great sounding Audio, lacks on voice control with Alexa echo devices!
Ok, here i am to give my honest review of my Sonos Era 100. I have good and bad points to make with this, but i knew it was not perfect before i purchased it. I bought this anyway for the sound quality and not really the extra voice features since i already have the Alexa i use. Just do not expect this to operate like the Alexa because it does not. At least not for me. And what i do not like about the Sonos is that for the voice you have to say, "HEY SONOS." and you cannot just say Sonos, you have to use both words. Alexa i can use just one wake word to use it and even change it, with the Sonos you cannot. Even though i got the Alexa app to work with the Sonos which i wanted to try anyway, it was a major disappointment, you hear the Alexa voice, but it would not operate any of my lights with Sonos. Not a major issue anyway since i already have it working with 2 Alexa units already. But if you are buying this for the Alexa feature, its a disappointment.Now for the sound. I heard so many good reviews about the audio quality so i had to give this a shot. The speaker was actually smaller than expected, but do not let that fool you. The sound was excellent quality and the music sounds very separated with the vocal and music which sounds great, and much louder too. I am using the Sonos speaker for my computer and basically music. I am now going to give you another honest review when comparing this to the Newer Echo devices. Buy the echo devices if you are wanting it for the home lights and tv use, but do not expect the audio quality like the Sonos has. Both the Echo and Sonos have good points, this is why i have both. Alexa for my lights and news and weather, however, if its audio you are looking for, i would spend the extra money for the Sonos and skip the Echo devices. Plus i do like the small size that does make it easy for Sonos to be placed just about anywhere. The bottom line with my review, if you want audio quality, then Sonos is for you. If you want to voice activate lights then the Echo's are better. But i have no regrets at all about buying this Sonos speaker.Ver másVer menos

Worth a bit of trouble
(4.5/5) I was apprehensive about purchasing a pair of these after reading so much online about the connectivity issues. We don’t have the strongest or most advanced WiFi network so I anticipated having issues—and I did.I hit my frustration threshold after trying for a couple hours to connect to my WiFi in the initial system setup. The simplest of things were just not working and troubleshooting tips online weren’t helping. Left them alone to tackle it again the next day.I had the same issues on the next attempt. So I gave in and called Sonos Support—they were wonderful. I had to download an app on my laptop and download a couple updates. The customer service rep guided me through the process and was just as excited as I was when we got everything working properly.I mention all this first because I know concerns about connectivity/issues with the app might stop a lot of people from buying these. While certainly not as easy as it should be, issues were fixed relatively easily through Sonos support.And my God—the sound quality of these speakers are amazing. You forget any troubles you had the moment you turn up the volume on your favorite music. I do consider myself an amateur audiophile and these speakers are worth the money. Hopefully Sonos is making progress with their system so that less people have to call support just for the initial setup. Removed half a star just for this.TLDR: Connectivity issues are real but fixable; sound quality is amazing.Ver másVer menos
