Great little ice cream maker!
I love this ice cream maker! It’s fast and not a big bulky thing that takes up a bunch of freezer space. It comes with 2 freezer mugs so when I use one I put the other in the freezer to be ready for the next time.Though it may be a negative for some, I love the size of the mug. It’s just enough for two people - or one if you really are an ice cream lover like me - and you can eat it right out of the mug. Clean up is a quick and easy. Another thing that some may not like (but I do) is that the consistency of the finished ice cream is similar to soft serve and if you want more of a hand packed consistency, you need to freeze it longer. I’m a soft serve person so it works well for me.It comes with a recipe booklet but the possibilities of use are endless. I freeze flavored ice milk mixes, juice, smoothies, yogurt, etc. and don’t feel guilty about my ice cream indulgence!Ver másVer menos

Works great! Easy to use & clean
I love this ice cream maker. It not only works great it's the perfect size and easy to use and clean. I was hesitant to try it because of the negative reviews but I'm glad I didn't listen to those people and just gave it a try. I put very little effort into using it and it turned out great every time. Not sure why some people had problems with it or if it was just user error or inability to follow directions. But i found it super easy to use and very versatile. I put the mug/bowl in the freezer for 2 days first to make sure it was sufficiently cold. The first thing i made was simple vanilla ice cream using the recipe in the book (although i didn't even measure exact amounts, i just guessed and eyed it). Poured the milk/cream/sugar combo in and let it go for about 25 minutes. Poured in some chocolate syrup in at the end and had myself some yummy perfect chocolate ice cream. It was on the softer side which is how i prefer ice cream so it was perfect for me. Also i noticed if you eat out of the frozen bowl it stays cold longer and if you push the ice cream around to the sides as you're eating it, it continues to freeze and harden. Transferring it to a different container will only make it melt faster. The second thing i made was a fruit sorbet sort of thing. I did this last minute with no plan and it turned out great. It was super hot and i was making a fruit smoothie, then decided to pour my smoothie into the ice cream maker to see what would happen. It was literally just bereies, juice and a little milk. After 25 minutes this turned into a fruity iced treat that was super delicious and perfect on a 90 degree day. The next thing i tried was putting in yogurt mixed with milk and juice and this turned out as a creamy mix between ice cream and iced slushy. I'm amazed at all the different creations you can make with this thing and how simple it is to use. Also clean up is quick and easy which i like. Having 2 bowls seems like the best idea, especially for a single person, as you always have one in the freezer ready to use. This makes the perfect amount for one person but it can make enough for 2 even in one bowl. This is a great product especially for the price. Glad i didn't get one of those expensive ice cream makers that probably doesn't even work as well. If you have been wanting to make your own ice cream or iced/cold treats/concoctions, then give this a try. Don't listen to the negative reviews because this thing is awesome and works great! Right Size and Easy to Use
Nice size for a single person. I like that it does not take up too much space in the freezer. The Vanilla ice cream recipe was easy and worked well.

Fun simple ice cream makes. Great activity to do with kids!
I bought this as a gift for my in-laws and they have happily used it many times to make ice cream for themselves and as an activity to make ice cream with their grandkids. They've expressed that it has been easy to use/easy to clean, and freezes well. They have used it repeatedly so I know they enjoy using it, it isn't too complicated, and it works well. I've also tried the ice cream they've made and it was delicious an rich vanilla. I love that this set allows for the option to make two different flavors with the two cups. I don't think they have tried making multiple flavors yet, I know if my husband and I had these that we would both be experimenting with different flavors from the ingredients we have at home!Ver másVer menos

Easy to use and delicious ice creme!
Small but mighty. Great single serve ice cream maker. With the one recipe I've tried so far it makes a little less than a cup, but to be honest the more I make, the more I'll eat. Definitely read the instructions prior to using it as they are helpful. Everything is pretty self explanatory and within 24hrs after opening I was eating soft serve ice creme. The 2nd pic is once it's finished (with marshmallows) so def. not ice creme consistency, which I don't mind. The only thing I would say is that the recipes themselves are a bit cumbersome for the qty of ice cream you are making. Just to make the chocolate one I needed to heat up two different sauce pans and at least 4 different small dishes to hold everything and a fine mesh strainer. The dishes piled up quickly so I'll probably make a few batches at at time to make it worthwhile and store in the fridge. All in all worth the money if you are big ice cream fan!Ver másVer menos

Know your recipe
Works great. No real mess,easy to use. We love the size because on larger models you have no real choice of making small amounts. With this you can make small quantities and then make another flavor, simple and easy.
