Fantastic camera
My main camera is an R6 mk II, and I chose the R8 because it has the same sensor/AF system/video features. It is, in many ways, the same internally. Not ENTIRELY the same, but close enough in so many that I think it's perfect for two people:First, like me, you have an R6 mk II and love it, but want a second/b-roll/backup camera body. This will produce the same image quality/video files, and even do as well(or nearly) for fast action, birds in flight, etc.Second, you really like what the R6 line brings to the table, but you aren't sure you want to spend that much money. Especially it you look for deals, refurb/renewed, etc. you can get an R8 and a good lens for about that the R6 mk II body costs. For example, I just bought this and the RF 100-400/5.6-8 and it was almost the exact same price.The cons(as far as I'm concerned):Only one SD card slot, so any card failures/corruption/etc. could be bad newsSmaller battery(the only thing that REALLY bugs me is needing two different types of battery for my bodies)No IBIS, meaning stabilized lenses are even more important, especially for hand-held videoOther than that, I think it's fantastic, and the first two are likely to not feel like a big deal to a lot of people. The sensor if great, the image quality is great, the AF is great, and it's even weather resistant(although perhaps not to the levels of the higher priced bodies)Ver másVer menos
