Less expensive substitute for brand-name lactase fast acting enzyme
This product from Carlyle has never failed me. They are round tablets instead of oblong caplets, but I have no trouble swallowing them, so the shape doesn’t matter to me. They work exactly the same as the original name-brand Lactaid Fast-Act 9000 caplets but for a fraction of the cost. And I only take these when I am at home, so I love not having to tear open an individual tablet for each use. They have no odor and the active ingredient is identical to the name-brand. I have not experienced any side effects. I would recommend this product to anyone who is lactose intolerant but does not want to give up dairy.Ver másVer menos

Highly recommend
I have used many other brands and by far this is the most effective and best tasting. It works every time without fail. I chew one or two with my first bite and it just works. Highly recommend.

Absolutely Works! Please read!
In my brother in law's pre med program, one of their labs did a comparison study between lactase supplements. This is the only one they tested that outperformed Lactaid and by quite a bit. They were using regular lactaid, not the fast act version, so I'm not sure how that would compare, but Carlyle worked faster than the regular Lactaid.Thanks to his recommendation, I get to be my dairy loving self again! I've even had times where I forget something like mashed potatoes at a restaurant will have dairy in it until I start to feel the first tell tale signs of upset. I hastily take Carlyle and even after the fact, if I take it soon enough it still heads off that gut wrenching pain!You definitely need to be self aware of your own system. I was so scared trying dairy again because of the pain associated with a reaction, so I started small with things like having sour cream or something cooked with some regular milk. But now I'm confident enough that on occasion, I'll even get a milkshake! Last night, I could tell that the milkshake at the restaurant I was at was more potent than others, so I just kept a tab on my digestive system and took more as I felt it needed it. I ended up taking 3, but for a homemade style milk shake, I'm pretty astonished it only took that much for me. I've been using Carlyle for months. I got a little pill container keychain to keep some with me wherever I go. It's been amazing! I know trying something new can be intimidating when the risks of the consequences of having lactose are so high, but I highly recommend trying it! It's stood up to everything I've pitted it against. Excellent Deal - They save the day (When I remember to take them)
Tired of not being able to enjoy your favorite dairy treat? Give these a go.Us lactose intolerant people know tummy issues are a way of life. Sadly. :(The only tool we have at our disposal are these miracle pills. Take one before having dairy and your stomach can live to digest another day - avoiding that debilitating stomach discomfort or worse needing to take the unexpected shmower!However as we all know. The big box stores have drastically increased their prices.So I turned to Amazon.Ive tried multiple brands on Amazon to help with those digestion issues. And yes, many do work as advertised for the said digestion relief. However a lot of them are barely a better value than the store brand.in comes Carlyle to save my wallet and my bowels!The Carlyle pills are small, easy to use and have enough strength to protect me from what would be painful digestion issues.The 180 pill container easily lasts me over a month closer to two. I only need one for a small amount of dairy but for a large portion two always does the trick.The only downside I can list is that they don't great. Not bad, just not great. More of a neutral chalky taste. But youd be hard pressed to taste anything if you take it with the food. Not enough to reduce a star for but I do hope they come out with flavored ones eventually.All in all these Carlyle brand lactose pills are a great value and ensure pain free dairy digestion.
