  The best all the way

  I absolutely love this vanilla coffee-scented beef tallow lotion! The first thing that stood out to me was the scent—it smells warm, cozy, and delicious, like a creamy vanilla latte or walking into a coffee shop first thing in the morning. The vanilla balances out the coffee scent beautifully, so it isn’t too strong or overwhelming. It has that perfect sweet, comforting fragrance that makes applying lotion feel like a little self-care ritual.The texture is rich and incredibly moisturizing, but it melts into the skin nicely and leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and nourished. I especially love using it on areas that tend to get extra dry, like my hands, elbows, knees, and legs. A little goes a long way, so you don’t need to use a huge amount to get great coverage.What I appreciate most is how soft my skin feels after using it. Instead of that temporary feeling you sometimes get with regular lotions, this leaves my skin feeling deeply moisturized and comfortable for much longer. My skin has a healthy-looking glow without feeling like I’ve just coated myself in a heavy, greasy product.And the scent is definitely a highlight!   So good I kind of don't want you to know about it...

  This is good stuff. I've been looking for a product that will eliminate, or at least relieve, post menopausal crepey skin on my legs. I've tried numerous lotions and several body oils but nothing's had the lasting effects I've been searching for. I finally decided to try tallow and this is the first tallow product I've tried. First, the orange vanilla smells so yummy, nothing like I imagine tallow would smell like. Second, it's so creamy it's dreamy. The whipped texture is soft and smooth and melts right onto my skin. A little goes a long way. Once worked into the skin, there's no heavy greasy feeling, it doesn't take much time for absorption. Third, if I massage the product onto my legs on Monday, on Tuesday my legs still look hydrated, not to mention it leaves my skin baby soft. While I can't comment on the long term effects just yet, I can say that at the moment it is the most promising solution I've found for crepey skin.Ver másVer menos

  Wish I started this product sooner

  Wish I jumped on the tallow bandwagon earlier. What a difference it has made for my face. I have tried so many other over-the-counter products (CeraVe, The Ordinary, Olay, etc) and skin was dry, patchy, acne prone and had dark spots. I noticed an almost immediate difference with this stuff. My skin is hydrated all day, my pimples are healing up quickly, and my skin tone is more even. The product itself is fluffy consistency, easily spreadable, there are no fragrances, and a little bit goes a long way. Totally worth the money.   WTWhat?! Magic in a jar! 🤩👍🏻

  Okay. Seriously?! How does it work so fast!? 🤯 I’ve been struggling with hormonal acne for the last year due to the arm implant birth control. Something I didn’t have issues with prior to the implant. Symptoms I’ve had include overly oily skin that’s caused almost rosacea-like redness and little tiny pimples that have peppered my face. I’m in my mid-30s and this is not how I want to look for the rest of my years. 😵‍💫 Fast forward to seeing the hype around beef tallow and when I came across this company and saw they were a family-owned company from my home state of VA — I took a chance. I’m so glad I did. I’ve been using this for two days and I’ve already seen a reduction in redness, decrease in oil, and the little pimples have subsided and I didn’t wake up with any new ones (that doesn’t happen to me very often). I’m in love. 😍 A little truly does go a long ways. The greasiness is minimal — just don’t overload your face. This morning I left it on my face about 10 minutes to absorb before applying make up, and it went on with no issues. Never in a million years thought that this would be helpful for me, but here I am — rubbing good quality beef fat on my face. 😆 And I will continue to do so into the foreseeable future. 👍🏻 Thank you so much for making such a great quality product! 🙏🏼 Oh!   Effective, Long Lasting, and Lightly Scented

  This product line won my over to tallow. I previously tried a different brand purchased as a maker's market that smelled lovely at first (lemongrass) but faded to a strong earth scent, like garden dirt. I read that grass-fed tallow, even when processed correctly, can smell earthy, so I was turned off from talow. Hearth & Homestead is completely different. The soft scent carries through the prodcut, and even as it fades on the body, the remaining scent is just natural. The emulsuion is thick and fluffy like really nice buttercream and just a dab on my fingertip covers my arms and legs. While the jar is small, it is going to last a long time since the product is so effective. It blends into the skin quickly, leaving deep moisturization without feeling greasy. My keyboard/phone isn't oily after I rub in into my hands unlike some other heaview body butters. I will be sharing this line with friends who were curious about tallow products. The price is typical for what I've seen at maker's markets and farm stands; considering the quality and efficacy of the product, I don't consider it overpriced as some reviewers have said.Ver másVer menos

  Love it, overall!

  Overall I love this, and the reviews were spot on! My skin has felt incredibly soft and moisturized since starting this. A little bit absolutely goes a long way. I find it goes on much smoother if your skin is just a tiny bit damp. If skin is completely dry, I find it feels hard to rub in without tugging at my skin needlessly. If I use too much, my skin definitely feels a bit greasy, so it's been a little bit of a balancing act trying to find the right amount between not enough and too much. But once I found that balance, I have loved this product. I got the butter almond one, and the scent is good, if not a tiny bit like buttered popcorn? But it's not overwhelming or long lasting. I will may try another scent next time, but definitely will continue to buy this product.Ver másVer menos
