Blown away by how good the picture is for an actually portable display

I've had this for about two weeks now and it's quickly become one of my favorite purchases in a while. I picked it up mainly as a second screen for my laptop, but the 2K resolution looks genuinely sharp and so much better than I expected at this price point. The 120Hz refresh rate makes everything feel buttery smooth while connected to my phone using Dex. Setup was dead simple, plug and play with a single USB-C cable that even charges my phone at the same time. This is the second UPERFECT monitor I've bought, but not because it needed replaced. I just like the brand and the quality of the products so much Im happy to carry one in my laptop bag and keep one at my desk next to my homelab for when I need to service it.- Display quality is excellent: the matte panel has great color display and the anti-glare coating actually works pretty well even in sunlight- Fits in my bag: it fits super easily inside of my laptop bag. Outstanding 240Hz Portable Monitor for Work and Gaming

I have been extremely impressed with this monitor. The display quality is superb, with a very sharp image and excellent color reproduction. The 240 Hz refresh rate makes everything feel incredibly smooth, whether I'm gaming or simply navigating through applications.One thing that really stood out to me is the brightness. The screen gets plenty bright and remains easy to see even in well-lit environments. Text is exceptionally sharp, which is important for me since I often work with detailed documents, spreadsheets, and other productivity applications.Portability is another major advantage. The monitor is lightweight, easy to carry, and fits perfectly into my mobile workflow. I especially appreciate that it can be powered and connected through a single USB-C cable, which keeps my setup clean and simple.I use this monitor regularly with both my Mac mini and my gaming laptop, and it has been an excellent addition to both setups. OLED Brilliance, Just buy Your Own Case

I picked this up to use alongside my laptop for work and gaming on the go, and honestly it has exceeded what I expected at this price point. The 3K OLED panel is just stunning. Colors are rich without being oversaturated, blacks are actual blacks (not the washed out gray you get on IPS panels), and the 120Hz makes everything feel buttery smooth whether I'm scrolling through documents or playing games. The 0.1ms response time is no joke either, zero ghosting.The touchscreen works way better than I anticipated. It is accurate, responsive, and I find myself actually using it instead of just ignoring it like I figured I would.Setup was painless too. One USB-C cable handled both power and video from my laptop, no drivers needed, it just worked.Build quality feels solid for a portable display. The bezels are thin, it is lightweight enough to toss in a bag without thinking twice, and the stand has a decent range of tilt angles.My one real gripe: it does not come with a case. For a portable monitor at this price, that feels like an oversight. The screen is gorgeous and I immediately felt anxious carrying it around without any protection. I ended up buying a sleeve separately, which is an extra cost that should not have been necessary. Bundle a case with it and this would be a no-brainer 5 stars.Still highly recommend itVer más

Great monitor with excellent customer service

Shipping and Packaging:The monitor arrived well packaged and protected with no damage.Product Quality and Features:I’ve been really happy with this portable monitor. The 16-inch 2K screen is sharp, bright, and a great size for a second display. Setup was basically plug and play with USB-C, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes everything feel smooth. It’s also thin and light enough to easily carry with my laptop.Customer Service:I had an issue about 8 months in and contacted customer service. They walked me through a few troubleshooting steps, which I didn’t mind—I’d rather get mine working than have to replace it.Once they determined it was faulty, they sent me a prepaid return label. As soon as I dropped it off at USPS, they shipped out the replacement. Communication was great throughout the process, and they focused on actually solving tVer más

Current best model for portable gaming(imo)

This monitor is probably the best specs for portable gaming currently available on the market for this price range. I went down the rabbit hole for my monitor purchase with my specific use case. I'm using this monitor in conjunction with an Asus z13 laptop which is connected to an Nvidia egpu. The egpu is then connected to this monitor in order to overcome the bottleneck that the USB4 ports on the z13 have. It's excessive, I know, but the setup gives me a 15 to 40% graphical power boost depending on the game. At 2K or 2.5k resolution with GPU upscaling applied, everything looks 4K since this screen is so small.Now back to the monitor. The monitor itself is performing great and punches above its weight in what you get for it's price. With my setup, I could use it's 240hz at 2.5k resolution if I wanted to, but I'm scaled back to 120 with how I have things configured.It offers HDR, but I'm going to be honest, it's a little dim at the 400 nits range with HDR applied. With that said though, you can bump it down to SDR and configure your settings from your source device and the monitors picture settings to get a much brighter basically HDR look. For example if I'm using this in a bright room, I've come to find that I will bump down to SDR. If I'm in a room that's not filled with light bouncing all around, I can bump up to HDR and really see the punch that this packs for color. It does have great color for what you're paying for.If you look at the Amazon product page, or go to the uperfect website product page for this model, you will see it advertised as a qled monitor. This is only partially true. All portable monitors currently on the market and advertised as qled are not a true qled panel. They are still an IPS panel, but they have a qled layer built into the finished panel. This is confirmed when you look at the user manual included with the monitor and it states that it's an IPS panel. Even still, that qled layer improves the available color gamut, increases vibrancy and perceived brightness, and improves HDR output and perceived color contrast.For the connection ports, you have two USBc ports and One mini HDMI 2.1 port. These connections offer great versatility for many possible gaming devices you will connect. While I did not do testing for connecting consoles or AMD graphics equipped computers, you will definitely be able to get all the display features like variable refresh rate, allm, freesync, and in my case, even g-sync. The problem is you have to make sure you are using the right port based on your device. What I would recommend is based on the source device, look up what exact protocol standard is required for supporting these modern additional display features. That's what I had to do for my Nvidia egpu. I found that getting cables or adapter dongles here on Amazon that are a DisplayPort to USBC connection with an additional power injection connection worked best. I even messaged uperfect customer support for help with this but they simply stated that they only support freesync through adaptive sync. While this is true, there are methods to mitigate this based on your device if you know what you are doing.The reason it has two usbc ports kind of goes along with this, as you will need to power this monitor ideally through an isolated individual power source. The monitor comes with a standard phone charging brick that is more than adequate for powering it in any connection configuration. But if you buy the right cable or dongle by doing research like I said, you can get away with a power and video signal single connection through USBc. That won't be viable though for consoles where you would need to connect HDMI.The physical buttons on the monitor for accessing the on-screen display menu are a little cumbersome at first, but there's only four of them so after a day or so of getting things configured you get used to it very quickly. Also FYI, I've already gone over this talking about HDR brightness, but you will notice that the picture settings get locked out in the on-screen display once you select HDR.I really like this kickstand style for this monitor. I've read reviews where others have stated that it's flimsy, but I don't think so. It will block the connection ports when it's in the stowed position, but I don't see how that would be a problem either unless you absolutely are dead set on using the screws provided with it to mount it to a Vesa mount stand. Even if you went this route, the kickstand only needs to be cracked open a few degrees to get access to all the ports.So with this detailed review and all of these minor caveats why am I still giving this a five-star review. Well because in my opinion, uperfect is at the pinnacle for this product space. There's only one or two other panel models from other brands here on Amazon that on paper have slightly better values for one specific spec. But if you'll take my word on it, when you put all the features together that this uperfect model offers, it's currently the best for modern portable gaming. It packs the most features in its panel while still being able to fit in a standard high school sized backpack.Not only that, but the uperfect customer service was great to me. While they weren't able to help me out with my main issue, and I figured out on my own, they did go out of their way to make things better. Both Sophia and Cleudia offered great assistance, and quick responses.One thing to keep in mind if you do have to reach out to customer support. Please be able to give them one day to respond since they are on the other side of the world lol. I recommend sending messages at night before bed and you'll have a response by the time you wake up. At least I did.It's things like this along with what I was able to squeeze out of this monitor that get me excited for this brand. I wouldn't be surprised if down the road they will have much brighter OLED panels roughly this size that also offers additional display features as described and include similar high refresh rates. So I'm happy with this model for now, but I will definitely be purchasing the upgrades down the road in the near future.

Actually Pretty Good

I was pleasantly surprised with this portable monitor. It has many applications that I will detail below.The monitor works seamlessly on a laptop—specifically the 2020 Macbook Air. I could plug in the USB-C cable from the monitor to the computer, which recognized it with no issues. Then, I could change the display to my liking on the laptop without using the OSD.I was impressed with the monitor's performance on a PS5 console. In my opinion, the 2K resolution has a notably better picture quality than 1080p. The console caps the refresh rate for everything at 60hz, but some games allow the use of 120hz for your display. The game looks fantastic when you can use 120hz with 2K resolution.I used to play console on my standard TV, but now, there is no way I can go back with how good it looks.If you have a PS5 Slim, you would be valid to bring the console and monitor around to plug and play on the go.One thing I should bring up with consoles is that you should disable HDR on either the monitor or in the console's settings; otherwise, the screen's colors will look washed out.Finally, the monitor's use on PC. I was in for a good surprise when I used the monitor on my PC. I was able to use the monitor at the advertised 2K at 120hz. What surprised me were some unexpected settings I could select for the monitor. For example, I could use the monitor at 130hz on specific resolutions and screen aspect ratios. Another one is that I could set the resolution to 4K with a max refresh rate of 60hz.I'm not sure if these settings are just errors with my PC or actual settings the monitor supports. I can not tell the difference between 120hz and 130hz, nor can I tell the difference between 4K on a screen that should be 2560x1600 pixels.Either way, I am satisfied with the monitor, which definitely has the advertised specs.The only issue I had with the monitor was that the AMD FreeSync was not detected by the PC even when enabled in the OSD, but it has had little to no impact on my experience with it. There are plenty of other OSD settings I care about more such as volume, brightness, blue light filter, HDR, RGB adjustment, aspect ratio adjustment, screen rotation, and more settings I did not change.I contacted customer support regarding the display not working with FreeSync and had excellent customer support. They quickly got back to me and were very considerate about my issue. They gave me a partial refund for my troubles, which I am satisfied with since FreeSync is not that important to me.In conclusion, this is a great monitor as an extra screen or a dedicated monitor.It is exceptional for its price and works well, five stars.
