  Works without issue

Exactly what I was looking for. I take my MacBook to a lot of meetings where I don’t want people sitting to my left and right to be able to directly see my screen, so this gives just the right level of privacy without making the screen completely unreadable. The protector fits nicely into the screen “groove” of a MBP 14” without damaging the screen when the lid is closed- which can close fully. I did not try the lens cover as I usually need access to the camera during meetings. The directions were unclear for screen cleaning so I just used the alcohol wipe to remove smudges and the cloth to make sure there were no streaks. Overall, it came out very nicely and I’m very satisfied with the purchase, especially for the price. The pictures attached were at about a 30% brightness to match the lighting in the room.Ver másVer menos

  Very well made, fits perfectly

I bought this for a new MacBook Pro as I now frequently find myself using it in areas where people are casually walking behind me. While I don't generally do banking or anything sensitive in that situation, it is nice that I can read email or messages without any snooping eyes. This was packed well - despite USPS doing their best to try and bend it - it arrived in great shape. It fit perfectly as described. Very easy to line up and install, no issues with any warping or bubbling, although you do really need to clean the screen well before install. It looks exactly as described and the screen disappears in the off angles like it is supposed to.I did not use the camera cover that was supplied - I had an unused on from a previous product purchase that I had already installed, it it appeared to be high quality and compatible with the camera system on the latest MacBooks.I'm very impressed and would buy this again in the future without hesitation.Ver másVer menos

Good fit, does what it's meant to do very well

Great product! Works great, people sitting next to me on the train or at meetings cannot see what's on my screen.Installation was easy although I did not find the stickers they mentioned for prolonged use (they do say they are easy to loose so maybe I did?)And there are no explanations about how to clean the screen but I think everyone pretty much knows to use the alcohol first then wipe it down. What is the blue plastic for I couldn't understand.Fits my 16'' laptop perfectly. When installed the screen is highly visible to myself and you don't feel that there is an extra layer.Ver másVer menos

Good protective film, real hard to install

As described & does exactly what I need it to. I was afraid the paper-like texture would be off-putting, but it’s actually really nice. Really helps with fingerprints and smudges, too; you can still see some, obviously, but they’re not nearly as distracting as on the shiny screen surface. Also helps cut down on glare off the screen.I only have to take a star off cuz installation was extremely frustrating for me. I’ll fully admit it was partially user error—I ended up wasting one of the films because I was trying so hard to get dust out from under it, that I really badly creased the film & it caused an even worse bubble than the dust did. But even putting on the second one was difficult, and I *still* creased/dented the film a tiny bit while peeling it back to get rid of a particularly awful dust bubble. Basically, you have to make sure you’re putting the protective film on in a completely 100% dust- & pet hair-free environment, because *something* is going to get underneath it and it is incredibly hard to get out. You have to peel the file back and try to quickly get rid of the offending dust or hair before more inevitably sneak under; you only have the provided “dust removal sticker” to work with and it’s just not strong enough to pick up particles that are already stuck on the sticky side; and you have to do this without creasing, bending, or denting the film, which is really easy to do when you’re trying to hold it back and press the dust removal sticker hard enough to actually get dust off of the film. I bite my nails really short and they still managed to dent the film enough that it’s got a perma-bubble.Tl;dr it’s functional, good quality, and does what’s promised, but installation is tricky unless you magically live somewhere without even a speck of dust and no pets.Ver másVer menos

Does what it’s supposed to do!

I’ve never used a privacy screen before but I was going on a work trip and felt it would be worth getting a privacy screen for working in public places. It arrived in perfect condition. I love that it’s magnetic on the top and it fits perfectly. It’s more thick than I thought but in a good way. It feels quite durable. It came with some things to stick it onto the screen as well as some cloths and a folder for traveling. I plan to only use it as a privacy screen so I don’t think I’ll actually stick it onto my computer as a long term screen protector but I feel it would be just fine for that!It dims the screen slightly but that’s kind of the point since it needs to hide the screen past a certain angle. It’s easy to wipe down with a dry cloth to get dust off.It looks nice on the computer since you can’t really tell anything is there. It feels durable and I’m confident it’ll last a long time.I’ve been using the plastic folder/sleeve to bring it with me. I just put it in the laptop slot of my backpack right behind the laptop itself. I did close it with the screen protector on just to see the gap other reviewers have mentioned. I think it’s so thin, it couldn’t be any thinner without sacrificing quality so the tiny gap didn’t bother me, however, since I didn’t use the adhesive, I needed to make sure the bottom part of the privacy screen (closer to the keyboard) didn’t fan out and get bent or stuck. But again, I plan to just use this by itself so I just end up taking the privacy screen off and putting it in the folder when I’m done using my MacBook.I’ve attached photos from the side angles and a video which shows the side views, then vertical (looking down towards the keyboard) and then right in front of the screen. You’ll see that there isn’t any privacy from a vertical point of view but the sides look completely dark!I would recommend this!Pros:Durable, high quality for the priceComes with adhesive, cloths, and a folderFits like a glove against the MacBook Pro 14” M2 Pro (A2779)Cons:I wish it could protect vertically and from a distance. The privacy only works on the sides. It’d be great to have something that can also protect from someone behind or above you. Please give this a try— you’ll likely find that it suits your needs as long as you’re aware of all the features!Ver másVer menos

Looks good but only slightly reduces glare

Instructions included were clear and it was easy to install - 5 Stars for that. Although it has a matte surface feel it doesn’t have 95% antiglare as advertised. It’s somewhat reflective, I can see myself and immediate background. I compared it to a different one on my phone which actually blocks out harsh light reflections, you can see the difference. I do a lot of night scrolling and have antiglare on all of my devices. This did not meet my expectations.Ver másVer menos
