Does everything a smart plug should — at a price that's hard to beat
I picked this up skeptically — budget smart plugs can be hit or miss — but the EIGHTREE has been genuinely reliable since day one. Setup was quick through the app, and having both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth means it connects even if the network is being finicky. No dropped connections, no phantom switching, just consistent on/off control from my phone.The 15A rating provides sufficient headroom for lamps, fans, and small appliances without any concerns. Scheduling works as expected, and the app is straightforward — nothing is buried in confusing menus.It works with both Alexa and Google Home, which is definitely a plus. If you're already in either ecosystem — or both — it slots right in with no extra hoops to jump through. Voice control just works.At this price point, there's very little reason to overpay for a name-brand alternative.
