Smell like money, class, sophistication.... this is not a day to day scent.
This is a dressed up, hair done, dressy shoes, perfect makeup, dressed to impress kind of scent. (I mean you do you but this is dressy and I think making it a day to day would diminish its specialness.)This perfume started me on a journey. I now have either in my grubby little hands or have coming in the mail all the flankers to this baby minus the two BR 540 dupes. Those will come later. This also started me on my Fragrance world exploration because you cannot create bangers like this and not have other treasures to share. (BTW every scent I have so far is stunning...)TWO sprays, just 2 and I had hours of this soft, alluring, sexy, downright bougie 2 foot-ish scent bubble. (Mind you I'm a daily, all day kind of scent wearer so it takes more for me to feel like something projects - people probably coudld smell me at finger tips lol). If you're coming here because you saw an influencer say this is amazing or you heard a review on the perfume (oud satin mood) that this dupes -- they are NOT lying. They are spot on and you were seeing genuine excitement. I came here because Maria Collet had Val on and Val had brought it for Maria to sell. They were just gushing and this was my first cave to their opinons lol NOW I watch them with my phone working furiously to find what they're talkign about so I can read along as they describe things.I know since then Maria has used a different maker of the same scent profile, maybe MaisonAlhambra but I wouldn't switch this one out for the world. :) In fact, I'd consider buying the Maison one just to compare but that's about it. This smells like hundreds of dollars waiting for the perfect fancy dress - personally I picture a white or burgundy pant suit. This isnt' fun or flirty this is alluring, grown up and sophisticated. Dark but soft - not at all screechy - I think if you overdo it, it could definitely be a bit cloying. Spray light and if you're especially sensitive to sweet and powder, spray lower than your armpits? I tested higher and I had 2 seconds where my head thought, "should I get a headache?" but nothing developed. I also think that was first day spraying... I'm curious to see what a little age will do. I feel like it will age like the finest of wines and BTW wine can be headache inducing when it's young too so [shrug] age might fix it all.I want to say this is not blind buy safe but if you like a deep dark rose, candied violets (a little syrupy even) a little powdery a little Oud-y (not strong oud it's more the powerhouse that pushes the dark roses forward) you'd be good. I think they name could easily be changed to Barakkat Velvet Oud it's warm and luxurious.... a ball gown, black velvet on the bottom satin on top. Now that is what this smells like... :) I hear this is unisex and I think the right guy could make this amazing too.... I am just here selfishly applying it to my world view.Ver másVer menos
