Good clumping litter

We have two cats so being able to buy this much litter at once is really convenient. You get two boxes and mine was packaged together in one box. I did have a small issue of litter somehow being in the larger box like maybe the litter was coming out the top near the handles. There’s a little punch out on the side of the box to pour like most have, which is convenient.The litter is what matters though and it did a really good job holding up to two cats who refuse to use different litter boxes. It clumped very well and quickly. One time my cat classically jumped in as I was scooping and I was able to immediately pick it up already clumped.It’s supposed to be unscented but I do feel like it has some kind of subtle scent to it, which I don’t mind because it helps neutralize odors.The litter is pretty fine and the cats do track it out of the box quite a bit. That’s really my only complaint but we do have a mat to try and catch itIt’s a good value for the amount of litter you get and has lasted us for a little over a month with two cats scooping once every other day.Ver más

Incredible odor control and clumps, but the heavy scent lingers on our cat

We have been buying this specific Fresh Step formula for months now to manage the litter box for our large Maincoon/Ragdoll mix. The ammonia block technology is a game-changer for fighting the urine odor. It clumps into solid pieces, making the daily scooping effortless. It lasts a few weeks, saving us time on maintaining the litter box. The Febreze scent eliminates the odor that typically comes from the litter box.Pros:Solid clumping actionOdor control that lasts weeksLow dust prevents a cloud when pouring into the litter box and when our cat uses the litter boxCons:Clay granules stick to paws and make a mess outside the boxThe Febreze scent clings to our cat's thick furA little pricey, although the long-lasting odor control helps offset the costBecause our cat smells of the Febreze scent, we have to clean his paws and fur before bed to keep the scent and loose litter off of our bedsheets. We worry about him ingesting the fragrance when licking his fur.
